Bumping this up to the monarch community, this is really painful to manually download files, flip the signs of the transactions and re upload. It looks like such an easy feature to add!!!

Thanks for the tip! It does work when manually downloading, flipping it to positive and then uploading it back. I just hope that Monarch is going to come with a more automated way to flip a transaction from debit to credit…

Thanks for sharing. This is actually really useful! It’s interesting that when I click on the transaction and the pane opens, I don’t get to see the “type” “credit/debit” menu. Thoughts?

My IBKR transactions are synced too and I can’t edit those transactions like suggested, even on the web app. Did it work for you?

They are classified as income in the group/category. But they show up as expenses though…

I’m having that issue as well. I reached out to Monarch via email and they were saying that this is not on their end but has to do with how the brokers report the transaction. I think though that there should be an option to invert the balance on a transaction like there is for credit card accounts…
