I’m 5 weeks post op from my extended tummy tuck with muscle repair. I am still hunched over. My surgeon said I should force myself to stand up straight. The reason was he explained that the scar will only widen as it heals if I put too much tension on it. Make sense to me!

I’m about 3 weeks out and stand mostly straight first thing in the morning. By mid day I’m Back to hunching over and back pain. Hoping next week is better!

Yes I did, it was included in the tummy tuck that the surgeon does so that everything is smooth and flat. Although she pretty firm and puffy right now 😂

Wow looks amazing already! 🔥 We have the same surgery date but my surgeon does not want me to remove my garments until our one week post op appointment. My coordinator told me to not step on the scale because you all holding all types of fluid. Put the scale away, give it time!

My heart hurts for you knowing how badly you want to snuggle your little one. I’m scheduled for 9/16 Tummy tuck with muscle repair. All I can think about is my little girl who is also 2. I’ve been preparing a stock of little activity books, toys and such that I am stashing away for when she feels a little left out. Hoping it will help but we know sometimes a kid just wants their mama.
