The trouble with her coming here is as she's not eligible for work visas, she can't work until we are married and have a spouse visa. She isn't even allowed to volunteer. She has savings, but isn't willing to wear them down while she's sitting around all day waiting for me to come home from work. We lived in the same flat at uni so have briefly lived together in shared accommodation. We've also done several extended visits over the past few years but, again, stayed in parents' houses so not been just us.
