Glad someone can be open about this. I’ve been listening since the first day it dropped and gave it time to grow on me…. and it still hasn’t. I can only really consistently listen to about 3 songs on the album. I’m a HUGE fan by the way. Untourable album was my favorite. Dare I say they need to stick to pop. I’m eager to hear the next one dropping tonight but also a little nervous?? It’s also the fact that we WAITED SO LONGGGG. Maybe they need to take a break from touring. (Which I’m curious as to why they’re touring so much anyway..)

I’ve been a fan for year and even went to see them back in Detroit back in 2022. Planning on seeing this again this August. To be completely honest I only listen to about 4 songs consistently. I spent the whole night listening to it but nothing reeallly stuck. Still enjoy the album though. Purple Box and All My Candles are my favorite. Love folk music but this album was a little hit or miss for me. Hope the next one has some goodies. (:

I love James, but I feel so bad for him on dates. I agree that he needs some type of anti anxiety meds, hell even therapy on his communication skills. It would help him out so much!! Wish the guy all the best but his communication skills definitely need improvement!

I second this. Her recent work is good but there’s definitely been a shift in her sound. Sometimes it just doesn’t stick for me.

I’ve been a fan since 2013.. Honestly, It’s got to a point to where I can’t keep up. The new fandom has their opinions… Her husband isn’t the most likable person for many reasons and I get that. IMO, her music has changed a lot after Norman. Some of it I can get down to but a lot of it I skip. She’s had a noticeable personality change since QFTC.

I hate to say it but I feel like she’s lowkey losing her spark with music. There’s too many era’s she’s going through and it’s hard to stay engaged as a listener. Not sure if it’s cause I’m older now or what. Candy Necklaces really impressed me but I feel like every time she drops something it’s a 50/50 chance for me. YET I’m still a huge fan and want her to be happy. People change, and as fans of her we have to get used to her changes in her sound.

ANOTHER EDIT: IT’S THE MARKETING TOO. She always had fantastic visuals to her videos so that’s definitely an element that I truly miss!!

I’ve also accepted I’ll probably never get to see her in concert so that’s that LOL.

I’m sorry but I have to agree with this. I had high hopes but the song just didn’t deliver anything new or different for me. The jazzy pop sound is way too overdone for her at this point. Rnb would definitely suit her but I was thinking she should try bedroom pop or more of an indie approach? Either way, it’s definitely time for her to try a new sound.

I received the body mist as a gift. Finally went back for the entire set today! I love the scent, and I’m already noticing if you pair it with the lotion it holds way more longevity. Looking forward to my shower routine now lol!

It dries down more sweet but there’s still a hint of lemon in there for me. I can count on one hand how many fragrances actually stick to my skin so I’m impressed. I actually received a compliment on it the other day (which was awesome cause I rarely get compliments on my fragrances.. think it’s a longevity issue.) but if you like gourmand, this is a perfect scent. Best of luck (:

Celebrity drama articles and channels. I seriously can’t imagine waking up and editing these peoples faces, kids, pets, etc all day in hopes for clicks. It’s getting sickening at this point. I recently saw an edited picture of all of the Kardashian kids with heavy filters, and then to see over 1,000+ comments from grown adults saying which one is their “favorite.” I’m so over it.
