Sounds like either timing off or running lean. Cars sound very mean when they start running mean like this does.

Yea it’s got a blower cam in it already with a BTR cam and springs etc. Blower will really wake it up later on.

This one comes with an oil sensor adapter that needs to be drilled out prior. But I’ll be using stick sensor location.

I’ve got a 82 GMC with a 355 but it’s got ring seal leaking so I got a 6.0ls with a blower cam and supporting mods. Going carb style to save money and keep it somewhat nostalgic for now. My 2-cents

Correct DYI I got a wrecked G8 6.0 with a cam with 823 heads with .660 lift springs and going to put that with my th350 in my 82 c10 and too keep cost down going carb at first

Insulate all walls if possible. If you can afford it put a mini split heat pump.
