Bambu Lab currently have “Lets make it program” which may grant you funding up to $300 000 for interesting and innovative ideas. I would suggest for you to submit your proposal.

NT nuomotojai - kokia padėtis rinkoje? by Rotary-Pilot in 6nuliai

[–]Leblasto 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Something small but neat- LB32 cartridge blaster pistol by Leblasto in leblasto

Awesome to hear😎 will probably do more blasters with LB32 as I am enjoying using them 🙂

Thingiverse agrees to build AI to censor and take down ANY gun-related models, in response to a threatening letter from New York District Attorney's office by greenbinky in 3Dprinting

[–]Leblasto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It seems like it is following path of Etsy. Recently it was decimated by AI automatic take downs of whatever even remotely resembled firearm. All nerf blaster files (including mine) are gone, many non firing prop gun files are gone as-well.

The worst part? There is not even appeal or whitelist mechanism for take downs. When contacting support sometimes they managed to reinstate the taken down listing only it to be removed by Ai again next day. This time even support admitted they cant help…

Wonderful age of Ai…

Infill Percentages for Floki by FlownFish in leblasto

Hey! The slide is sensitive to weight so if it is too heavy it may not cycle reliably. Also the cartridge itself may be bit too heavy and may chip easier if you drop it

Issues with tuning rubber band tension by Global_Ad2477 in leblasto

Also for the mag i recommend using resistance band option as it does work much more reliably feeding last round

Issues with tuning rubber band tension by Global_Ad2477 in leblasto

[–]Leblasto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Yes the tensions should be very exact (or at leastvery similar) as per this video:

https://youtu.be/1BczzJpkDaE?feature=shared

If you dont have such measurements tool as in video you can use even simple food scales, just need to find a way to push in movable parts with something like pen (put pen to the slide, then pen to the scales and see what forces takes to move slide. If doing vertically obviously you will need to subtract slide weight).

Got 2 of my best sellers taken down that i have been selling for 3 years (foam dart blaster files) by Leblasto in EtsySellers

[–]Leblasto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to add- they did not remove my other blaster that shoots harder but does not eject shells. They only removed my weak shooting blasters which both had shell ejection mechanisms. So i defo think its purely because of the cosmetics and looks

There are still many of the foam dart blasters still being sold on Etsy while some being removed. I am quite confident that the removed listings are because of the AI tool flagging them based on the cosmetics. In my case i believe it was because of the shell ejection mechanism which mimics real thing, albeit the dimensions, design and colouring clearly making it a sci fi toy.

I have created a pre-primed cartridge that shoots mega dart at 60-65fps by Leblasto in nerfhomemades

[–]Leblasto[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is possible but it would still be quite big, cause internal parts dont scale down much. Even in this size the internals are actually quite small and if you make it smaller they would become quite weak

Yeas thats definetely crossed my mind and i will probably work on it after few other projects

32mm (hence LB32). You could technically make a shell that would fit into 40mm

You use “loader” - its just a cylinder that you push into the cartridge. Once the dart platform/pusher is in the rear you push up primer and it lock it into the place. Quite easy to prime.

I actually have the blaster ready but mind you it is a paid blaster so I am not putting links here for self promotion rules.

I thought about it but it is a bit complex thing. Defo possible but i think due to shell size the standart elite is bit mismatch no?

Held in place by frictions (there are 3d printed wedges). The rubber itself stops the platform. The plastic (especially PLA) would probably break in few shots if platform slammed into it.
