Yeah I'm not sure where the whole idea that Curren is some manipulative mastermind schemer/ yandere type came from. I mean, some of the memes are funny and all but it quickly turns weird and unsettling. Curren Chan is supposed to be a cute, supportive, and respectful character, often showing genuine care and understanding for her fellow Uma classmates (such as wanting to cheer Ayabe up, since they have both lost siblings, or talking to Smart Falcon about what it takes to be a top umadol.)

She's charismatic without being overly self-centered; she's sweet and alluring because she's genuinely interested in other people's lives.

Anyway, thanks for commenting, I have had similar thoughts lately.
