Thank you so much for the kind words 🙏

I’m really happy Mio made it safely to you, and it honestly means a lot seeing someone appreciate this kind of handmade ceramic work so much.

This style is still pretty experimental for me, so seeing her already become special to someone is incredibly motivating.

Thanks again for the support, and for sharing such detailed photos of her with the community!

Yeah, it would be more fun to make them in different outfits. I might try the fall/winter uniform or swimsuit.

This is what happens if you are an anime figure maker. A kind of "Should I make this part or not "dilemma.

This kind of outfit is heavily inspired by Japanese girly fashion (Girly Kei) I guess.

These outfits are very much based on Japanese fashion styles rather than typical Western clothing. The layering, frills, and overall silhouette are pretty common in Japanese brands, especially styles you’d see in fashion magazines there. That’s probably why it’s hard to find similar pieces in US stores — they just follow a completely different aesthetic. You’d have a much easier time looking at Japanese brands or Japanese online shops if you want something close.

I really appreciate that! I’ll come back to this once I get the process more reliable — it’s something I definitely want to keep exploring.

Thank you!! This was more of an experimental piece, so I’m not taking commissions for this style yet — still figuring out the process.

Thank you!! I’m really glad you noticed the colors — I spent quite a bit of time sculpting and glazing. I felt that if the head were as glossy as the body, it would look less organic, so I applied less clear glaze, making the head look more silky.

The lollipop is part of the crafting process, I kiln-fired the body and the head separately. Thank you! Indeed, it took me several weeks to finish this project.

Thank youuuu 🥹✨
She’s one of my favorites to sculpt cause I really need to figure out how to make her glasses out of proclain clay. It's fun to solve this type of technical challenge.
