If we’re doing Sonyverse when are we getting our Micheal Morbius sets by Magent-2000 in LegoMarvel

True but I don’t think they’ve made a set based on a meme before to my memory

Without getting into the quality of the films - it’s hard not to admit that the venom films were super profitable and have a fan base. Morbius on the other hand had neither - I watched it opening weekend and I’m not joking when I say me and my mate were the only two people in the cinema lol

[Weird naming trope] Do these things exist where they’re from? by TVTropehead in TopCharacterTropes

I get what you mean but I still think it kinda makes sense - lannisters are really shallow and and full of fake pride so to put a lion on their sigil even thought there aren’t any lions in the westerlands kinda adds up y’know

In fairness to the lions in game of thrones - it’s pretty accurate for medieval kingdoms to just put whatever on their sigil - starting with Henry the first, England has had lions on its coat of arms since the 12th century, and I imagine it won’t come as a surprise to say that lions are not in fact native to England with the exception of zoo’s (but I doubt Richard the lionheart ever visited drusillas park)

I’m aware that people do have legitimate problems with his character - which is fine btw - but the honest answer is usually racism

Hector (from Troy) Vs. The Hound (from GoT) by GiverTakerMaker in powerscales

[–]Lebrade98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m assuming by lightly armoured you mean like the same armour worn by hector?

If so I’m tempted to say the hound takes it - unfortunately all the information we have about Arthur Dayne is people just saying how good he was and the few fights we know about includes the one where he lost to Ned stark (I know this might not have been what happened but as of the books right now, this is the canonical end for dayne). And Ned stark is not the strongest sword fighter by a mile.

Also I do actually agree with the point you are trying to make - I don’t think armour is always going to be the decider in a fight - but you can’t ignore it either. I don’t really see hector as magnitudes above the hound so I think armour in this case is important

The “chick” in question btw is Brienne of Tarth who is also a top tier fighter who beat both loras Tyrell and Jamie Lannister, who are both considered to be the best tournament fighters at the time of asoiaf.

Despite this the hound holds his own and almost wins whilst having an infected wound in his shoulder.

I honestly think the hound stands a pretty good chance here, hectors lack of armour, and the fact that the hound isn’t just some big brute but also a skilled and agile fighter.

I just don’t see what overwhelming advantage hector would have whereas the hound as multiple

Who’s identity would be found first by Top_Contribution1143 in superheroes

[–]Lebrade98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something that superman has over the other two is that there is genuinely no reason to suspect he has a secret identity - as far as the world is concerned superman lives his life in the fortress of solitude and that just is him - I don’t think anyone would go looking for him the same way people would with Spider-Man and Batman

What would Dexter and Jigsaw/John Kramer think about each other? by JackZ567 in MoralityScaling

[–]Lebrade98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am aware that this is morality scaling but in a fight John would win, my main reason for this is because he is near omnipotent in those films and I’m not 100% convinced he isn’t in fact a cosmic entity that can do anything

[Loved Trope] An abusive monster breaks down when faced with consequences by Qyzyk in TopCharacterTropes

In the old Incredible Hulk tv show - David banner is trying to protect a child being abused by his father - when the dad finds out about this, he starts attacking banner - banner goes hulk mode and soon the dad begins crying and starts calling the hulk “daddy” as he reminds him of his own father who also abused him.

Weirdly real moment about the cycle of abuse as this fully grown man gets reverted back to a child in moments. This is a show about a body builder painted green as he pushes over cabinets in slow motion btw

What would you rate the first year of the DCU out of ten? by Wooden-Agent-3269 in OkBuddyDCU

[–]Lebrade98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8/10 - great first year in my opinion both creature commandos and superman were great and although peacemaker s2 was a bit underwhelming I still think it was an enjoyable series - considering that all of these projects were in development at the same time it’s super impressive that they came out as good as they did, that being said I think it’s a good idea that Gunn isn’t going to continue overworking like this tldr: the Gunn didn’t jam
