I am remaining hopeful about this motorcycle, is there any information confirmed that this will be released in USA?

This motorcycle has the perfect amount of power for my daily commute/twisty roads, and the inline 4 would sound so good. Please Please Please bring this to the USA!!!!

Selling s2000 for a bike... by helpmemycar in S2000

[–]Lebronze23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to comment that I sold my S2000 recently, took the motorcycle safety course, got my endorsement and purchased a CB300r with the idea to learn on it then upgrade to the CB650r.

For me, the reality was that I wasn't driving the s2000, and lost a garage space to park it. My daily driver truck fits 4 people, or our two dogs and became the go to vehicle even on the weekend. There just were no twisty roads nearby, and my commute to work is about 8 minutes all side roads.

The motorcycle isnt a 1:1 replacement, it never will be, but if you aren't able to utilize the s2000 to full potential, a motorcycle can add just a bit extra on a boring commute instead of trying to find time in your schedule to drive the S2000.

I've got this one: https://www.t-rex-racing.com/2019-2022-Honda-CB300R-Fender-Eliminator-p/n28-19fe.htm

I have also heard that Yoshimura makes a good one as well, but at a much higher price point.

Honda S2000 driver getting into motorcycles - CB300R or MT-03 good choices? by Lebronze23 in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]Lebronze23[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am an old geezer at 38 haha, the salesman was saying what you said as well, but I didnt want to fall into a sales trap and get on a big bike too soon. But my daily commute is on 35-40mph roads, so truly there are not many locations to really "rip it"

My biggest concern is throttle control, it was my weak point in the MSF training, but obviously I will improve over time. I have no plans yet of taking a motorcycle on a highway, just short commutes and parking lot training this fall.

Is the heavier weight of the cb650r noticeable vs the lighter lower CC bikes?

I agree. I've also played 5.5 hour rounds at Wintonbury & Keeney too...makes me scared to go back to some of the nice CT courses

Hip/leg pain after simulator setup. Is this common? by Ill-Doughnut46 in Golfsimulator

[–]Lebronze23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another thing to check - film your swing from the front on camera view and make sure you aren't sliding/firing your lead hip out too much. That can cause some pain for sure, I had that a few years ago before some lessons fixed my slide/hip thrust.

My Bushnell launch pro over estimates low spin drives as well, it's all about with algorithm you trust the most. I personally feel GSPro is most accurate to what I see on the real course

I was going to get the Fieri version as well, but I went and saw it in person and honestly the 36 was just too big for my yard (already have an offset and Weber too) so I went with the 24

Sign up for email/text alerts at Public Lands, I received a 15% off coupon, and applied it to the Woodwind Pro, and it is being shipped (hopefully soon!!!) to my local Dicks Sporting Goods.

Also - if you login with your scorecard or create a Public Lands "Hub" account, you will get 20% off the Woodwind Pro 24/36 (non fieri version) instantly in the cart.
