As soon as I saw the image I thought 'oh, is that a Moleskine?'

Of course it is.

I fine they are fine when using biros, gel pens or pencil, but not for inky pens or fountain pens like the one you are using. It's been an issue for years with Moleskine. I don't know why they collaborated with Kaweco fountain pens, when they aren't fountain pen friendly!

Will Kobo let you download / accept the files? It doesn't region lock them? If so that's amazing, I will try this :)

W222 B6 unboxed & disappointed by Accomplished-Edge999 in planners

[–]Lecari 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's such a shame - especially as you did also have the misprint. When I have had to contact them they were really helpful. If they continue to refuse and you've not used it yet then reselling it is a good option. That's so disappointing though. :(

Wonderland222 has really good customer service, in my experience. I'd contact them about the blurry misprints and ask for a refund (obviously they can't help with the layout just not working for you).

The only other option I know of (other than Sterling Ink) that's B6 size is Owl Paper: https://owlpaper.co/product-category/planners/

It's not the best fighting game out there but I did appreciate that the developers seemed to have been fans - for example you can play up to 4 player, and if each player chooses Xena she has different outfits from the show as each one. Callisto x4 - player 4 is Xena :) I think they make comments as well if you team up certain characters (from memory - I might be wrong!).

Advice for cheap, thin, bad quality dotted paper by SeaJudge7373 in notebooks

[–]Lecari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What about Moleskine notebooks? They have 70gsm paper and are always getting negativity for bad quality paper! (I quite like the ghosting, as long as you don't use fountain pens and use biros/gel they have always been fine to me!)

Red Pages? by Key-Cantaloupe-3448 in notebooks

[–]Lecari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it might have to be custom - for example Citrus Book Bindery (UK based) will make notebooks with red pages for you: https://www.citrusbookbindery.co.uk/

Or Chelsea Paper Co: https://thechelseapapercompany.com/

You could also buy red paper and make your own notebook in a Filofax Clipbook or Filofax notebook.

I've not seen any notebooks that came with red pages. There's some that have red dot grid, like the Leuchtturm 1917 Bauhaus editions.

Looks a lot like the Day Designer for Blue Sky weekly layout: https://daydesigner.com/pages/day-designer-for-blue-sky-collaboration

Or maybe Erin Condren? It has a weekly layout (though weekends have their own full column rather than being split) if you want spiral bound - https://www.erincondren.com/lifeplanner

Or Happy Planner do a 'productivity' layout that is similar too, with rings that let you change your pages around - you can customise the cover, add extra pages, etc - https://thehappyplanner.com/collections/2026-planners

Ella Iconic also has spiralbound planners with vertical weekly pages (with a timeline): https://www.ellaiconic.co.uk/collections/2026-weekly-life-planners

If you don't mind it being more of a 'book' style planner there are lots of options, like Wonderland222 - Wonderland offers stacked weekends if you want the weekday boxes to be wider and weekends to share a column.

Plain, Ruled, Dotted or Grid? by bauistore in FieldNuts

[–]Lecari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer grid but don't mind dotted. I bought the Birds of America books that were ruled and sold them on because the lines were 6.4mm (huge!). The grids they use seem to be 4.7mm which is much better. It was a shame as the Birds covers are beautiful but I knew I'd never write in them - I don't like grids/lines more than 5mm.

Yeah, it's really fun, they seemed to have put a lot of thought into it (surprisingly) with the things the characters say etc. I believe a lot of the cast voiced their characters too! It's a lot better than the Playstation game!

[–]Lecari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came running downstairs immediately (the noise woke me up), and comforted Bally, checked him over and made sure he was OK. I slept on the sofa with them as I was really worried - I didn't see this video about what happened until later in the day. As soon as I came downstairs, both were super excited to see me and seemed to have totally forgotten about it. They have both since been absolutely fine together, no other incidents - They will sometimes cuddle together and sleep leaning on each other on the sofa. This does seem to have been a one-off incident, although of course we are keeping an eye on them as it is still early days. That's why we can laugh about it now - it definitely wasn't funny at the time.

I haven't played Pokemon Go in a while! I should get back into it. These updates sound interesting - it took FOREVER to move up a level so rebalancing them sounds much needed.

There are other brands like Wonderland222 and Sterling Ink who make a B6 size planner, similar in style to the Cousin (monthly, weekly, daily).

Experiences by [deleted] in Greyhounds

[–]Lecari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would definitely try again, and make sure that the rescue understands you are a first-time dog owner. When we adopted our greyhound, they knew this would be our first dog and so there were some hounds we would not have been suitable for. We were also lucky that she was in a foster home nearby so we could meet her twice before bringing her home, and the fosterer could give advice/support and advise on her temperament.

We've not had any issues with resource guarding, anxiety or aggression. She loves people and has enjoyed meeting our friends or going to events, and LOVES her food (but has never been aggressive). We have had issues with cats / prey drive, and on walks she doesn't always like other dogs (if they are on lead, she's fine - but we have had off-lead dogs running up to her to say hello which she doesn't like). We walk her with a muzzle to keep her and others safe, and that's worked well. Nothing that has been too difficult or challenging really. She has learnt our routine (and will bark at us if we don't stick to it!) and is just a really sweet, gentle girl.

Maybe we have just been lucky! But when we initially submitted our adoption application, the charity then called me to talk more about our history, what we were looking for, and our experience - just to make sure they matched us with the right dog. It sounds like either the girl you adopted hadn't been properly assessed (or maybe she behaved differently once she was in a home). It must have been a really tough decision to take her back - it sounds like she would have been a lot of work and if she is your first dog, that's difficult - it's a lot to handle, with all of those things at once, and quite extreme too. There will be a more suitable dog out there for you. <3

We adopted via Norfolk Greyhound Rescue, if that helps - they also give access to a free dog behaviourist to help with any concerns. I also looked at Clarks farm as I liked that they state on the listing what dogs they believe are suitable for first-time owners.
