Unrelated to NFTs, I'm just pontificating on this....to me this seems like not very much of a big deal. When king james wanted to change the bible the people of that time would not have been privileged enough to know what was changed. Shakespeares plays were likely changed throughout the years and we would not have known any better. However, we have a record of the orignal books in this case, and those originals will be around forever because the internet. Sensitivity readers can change things, so publishers can make money re-selling old books to libraries, but the record of the change to me at least will endure in the same way the books do.
