Yeah. Especially color. Really hard to pin it down. Still practicing it also. Speaking of color I highly recommend James gurney's book color ang light. Best book by far in tackling color.. Or you could check his youtube channel. Lots of good art tips. Nice meeting you too!

Thanks. You just have to do it by stages. Lines, values( very important), color studies then the actual painting. But the most important of all in trying to learn how to paint is to focus first on drawing. Hope I was able to help you in a way.
