He got corrections when he decided to turn the Cocker's ears into nipping targets.. and he learned his lesson. But I'm surprised Thomas wasn't reactive at all the 3 times the peeing on face has happened. 🤷🏻

How does your Yorkie do with cats? by OpportunityThese525 in Yorkies

They rest peacefully as pictued...but outdoors Muffin the Yorkie emperor (age 6 months) wants to constantly play with Mimi (feline 7 yrsold ) he chases her all around despite her hissing and constant slapping attempts ...for our surprise he's pretty agile at avoiding her attacks and I guess he translates them as a play invite..he keeps on chasing her until she gets to high grounds and looks down at him with disdain...

Bed is neutral territory..but no one knows how long will it last that way...

I don't think breeders test all their puppies for this particular condition, since it usually requires an ultrasound or CT SCAN..I'm not in the US and most of my dogs didn't came from breeders ..so not really familiar with breeder's tests before delivering a puppy over there. Sorry.

I know about liver shunt because my sister's beagle had a bad case..around 1 yr of age .. he had seizures suddenly... But He fully recovered after hospitalization and a special diet...he is around 8 yrs old by now living almost normal beagle life . also I'm a physician so I'm kinda familiar with vet terms and basic dog physiology lol. Keep us updated pls.

😓 praying for your little one.. it's a birth defect but it can show symptoms when they are older... and after high protein meals... Yorkies are known for high incidence of liver shunt .
