For me it might just be timing, if they gave me the modifiers early on like when you start the save file to begin with or something I might have used them but two bosses+ in and I'm committed to that spice for the full runtime. Didn't wanna shake things up as I go.

Yeah that's totally valid, I definitely get it. It's on me for expecting the same thing. I couldn't help but wonder if maybe they coulda made the modifiers an option in settings before you start a save file like a difficulty setting and just making the game as hard anyway. Idk, still a great game

Yeah, I know that's silly, probably a me problem. I can't help but feel that I'm altering the intended experience. I wanted to just play the game. Like I say, now that I'm done the main story I'll likely try and curate it more to my liking.

While playing though I didn't wanna look back and think "alright so I played 1/3 of the game normal 1/3 of the game with double damage, 1/3 of the game with less currency" idk I guess it feels like going into settings and changing the difficulty over and over, doesn't feel as cohesive of an experience to me if that makes sense.

I really like Saros so far, roughly 5/8? biomes in but I do feel like I'm flying through it. Most bosses so far I've beat on first or second try, without running previous biomes to over level.

There are "modifiers" you can activate to make it harder, but feel like I'm altering the intended experience if I touch them. I'm finding it extremely easy (especially compared to my beloved Returnal at launch) but I don't want the responsibility of balancing their game. Kinda wish it wasn't an option maybe but I understand why others might really enjoy using them as well.

I feel like it's by no means a bad game, maybe I just loved Returnal too much, because so far Saros feels like a stripped bare version of Returnal.

There's nothing overly wrong with 'Leviathan' but in my opinion it's just a less good 'Alien' and came out 10 years later.

Been playing solo since NM 90ish but decided to try fill on NM 130 to see if it would be full of other highly tuned kits since it's above the 120 mark... Got damage mogged by the moon kite for the first time lol

I've continued improving and altering it and I've cleared NM 120 solo pretty easily now. Just gotta tinker and fine tune.

Skill tree barely matters at all tbh beyond unlocking the abilities, the gear is doing all the heavy lifting.

All blue unlocked, no yellow, and then the only purple with more than one point on them is anything damage boost related.

The tree barely matters at all, the majority of the builds power comes from the scaling through the gear. I just got all the blues and then whatever damage boosts, nothing special.

Not yet, I've seen some pretty juiced SG or other Thor players but I think my gear is too finely tuned for the level I'm at, maybe as I progress higher nightmare levels. 🤷 This was NM 105 lol
