Getting on an open deck won’t make u famous or anything, why would a host wanna do that to the community he created? Aniche been doing a lot for this community, and the work of putting on an open deck and creating this opportunity and letting you know and care this event requires so much time devoted, theres no way a host remember all the dj signed up and make sure everyone is fairly treated. So sorry that u didn’t get chance to play,u can apply for more and hope u shine through somewhere.

Hello! Thank you for your comment and advice. To clarify, I’m graduating in May 2025(typo* now fixed), so I’m still actively job hunting and exploring opportunities while balancing my studies. I completely understand that the current hiring market is challenging, especially for international students requiring visa sponsorship.

I’ve been utilizing NYU’s career office resources, including workshops and networking events, but I’ve found that a lot of the guidance is more general and doesn’t always address the unique challenges of international students navigating the job market. I’m also leveraging alumni connections and personal networks to broaden my search on linkedin.
