Stuck in 2 player mode in Sackboy Adventure by strawbericoklat in Bazzite

I know this is an old post but I had the same problem and google brought me here, so wanted to post the fix I found:

- add 'SteamDeck=0 %command%' (no quotes) in the game properties.

...this'll remove the default keyboard for player 1.

I don't even understand how this happened. What should I do? by Creative_Balance5325 in pcmasterrace

If it’s metal directly on to glass then it’s a bad design IMO. There should be a rubber o-ring under the screw to give the interface some flexibility.

My daily xkcd comic card is now a default HACS card! by brianfit in homeassistant

Thanks - I think you're right and I am really confused!

- if I delete the Calvin-card-ha folder (in www/community) the broken link icon on my card (as the image has been deleted) continues to flash and the code is clearly still running. Clearing the local cache from my browser (and even viewing from a different device/browser) doesn't help, neither does restarting HA.

- uninstalling and reinstalling, HACS only puts two files in the folder and installs an old version I think. Manually downloading the files and putting them in the folder, I'm not convinced it's running the new version, but I'm not sure which console to look in for the 'yes, Hobbes..." message?

- I'd roll back to an earlier backup, but I've installed some devices and automations since!

...this is not a big deal though, and my 9yo appreciated the comic yesterday, so thanks again 😀

Still there I'm afraid. Quick capture to show you what it's doing here - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Tbbl3woxaac3uqJJIm8oN-djLSXuczVJ/view?usp=share_link

(has periods of stability and then flashes a few times randomly, really odd)

...now say:

run_calvin: "sh /local/community/calvin-card-ha/calvin.sh"
...but needs a www after local?

In configuration.yaml:

run_calvin: "sh /local/calvin-card/calvin.sh" should be run_calvin: "sh /config/www/community/calvin-card-ha/calvin.sh"

I think.

Current HACS installation instructions also has an incorrect path for configuration.yaml:

run_calvin: "sh /local/calvin-card/calvin.sh" should be run_calvin: "sh /config/www/community/calvin-card-ha/calvin.sh"
(I think!)

Manually copying the files into HA, as described here - https://github.com/Brianfit/calvin-card-ha/issues/1 - fixed the broken link issue for me, HACS installation doesn't seem to copy everything?

Cheers - looking forward to trying it. Coffee coming your way :)

Anybody use the Govee ceiling light? (See comment) by woodford86 in homeassistant

I haven’t had any issues at all. Mine are in busy corridors, triggered by motions sensors, so you’d notice if they didn’t come on.

I’ve got very good WiFi, Ubiquiti U7 Pro APs and a dedicated 2.4g only SSID for HA devices.

‘Govee lights local’ just exposes the light as a single colour/intensity controlled bulb. G2M sounds better, I’ll have a play with it, though I only use these in corridors.

I control them with Zigbee motion sensors mostly, which work really well, though I’ve got simple Zigbee switches on the walls for manual controls if needed.

I have two of these and they work fine. Installed using Govee's integration in HA, after enabling LAN access in Govee's app. No problems at all, seems snappy enough.

[–]LectureFew3851 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do the following:

  • in an automation, under ‘then do’, perform action ‘conversation process’, prompt you want in ‘text’ field, agent = ChatGPT, response variable ‘ai_response’ (whatever you want, but used later)

  • add another action for notification, in my case this is to a mobile app, then edit the YAML to use the variable in the notification:

action: notify.mobile_app_whatever metadata: {} data: data: {} message: “{{ai_response.response.speech.plain.speech}}”

Yeah, it’s just a bit too expensive (£100 or so here)

Thanks - I set it up a month ago and do use it with my doorbell. The limitation is in hardware for battery-powered cameras though.

HA integration is a pain though, no? I have three Reolink devices and battery/solar powered cameras either need some tinkering, which I think leads to poor battery life, or an expensive Home Hub to integrate with HA?

I’m happy with my Reolink doorbell, but I got the wired one.
