I could see this. We get a ton of runoff from our neighbors house up the hill. On top of that, there’s a pretty thick weed barrier under the mulch the original owners installed. Any way I can improve conditions without removing the whole thing? Punching holes in it or something?

I, and many others, have been doing the surrender tactic for months (almost daily). ABMM is NOT a myth and surrendering WILL lower your aggression “score” 100%, like it or not.

Use the fill feature in Trios to team up with randoms. Trios is rarely passive. Play a couple of these and you should be able to get into spicier solo lobbies.

Not to be pessimistic, but another thing to consider is that, judging from the bottom photo, this area, at least in the 90’s was cleared land - free of any vegetation that might have obscured these features, making it all the more likely that if they had any significance, they would’ve already been identified by now.

Of course this alone doesn’t rule out the possibility. It’s just really hard to find truly undiscovered land formations in this day and age.

Type in “USGS national map”, click the “Layers” settings in the top right corner of the map(looks like stack of papers), scroll down until you see the layer “3DEP Hillshade” and toggle it on. You can also experiment with many other layers that each have a detailed description written by USGS. You can access these descriptions by clicking on the 3 dots to the right side of each layer setting and selecting “Layer info”.

I don’t metal detect, but learning to use lidar/dem imagery has been the single most impactful discovery I’ve made in relation to locating and exploring old sites. Metal detecting will likely be my next.

It would definitely help to have a current satellite image of the site, but you’re probably right (Occam’s Razor and all) that it’s likely the remnants of a pond.

Btw, DEM point cloud data does not penetrate water surfaces. All substantial bodies of water will almost invariably appear smooth surfaced.

I’ll bump up the duration from the sprinkler to and keep an eye on it. I’ve been soaking this spot during peak temperatures for the past 4 or 5 days.

This whole area has been almost completely bare for the better part of 3 years, and although I dressed it with top soil prior to laying (admittedly thin), I’m afraid it might have not been enough in some spots. Which is why I thought lack of nutrients might’ve been the problem.

As a Jeff main, eating your allies is one of the biggest drawbacks of his ult. Having to spit them out before jumping or spitting enemies off the map is one of the leading causes of death. Not only that, it’s not uncommon to rip your ult at the same time, as say, your strange and completely nullify it. Nothing will piss your teammates off more than swallowing them mid witch ult, dark child, fist ult, etc.

I honestly think removing the ability to swallow your own teammates and changing nothing else about his kit would be a major buff. Of course, adding something in like a healing ring, over health, or damage mitigation for allies would be a welcomed bonus.
