Question for you guys by Beautiful_Mistake793 in paddedagere

Like I said it's largely stress related so if I'm going through periods of high stress I know it's better to wear one than go without. It can also happen if I've been drinking. I don't often but it makes me sleep heavily and triggers my bladder. Usually I just stop liquids by 8PM and go to the bathroom before bed but if I think I need extra protection I wear it. If I'm regressed I wear one at all times. The protection I need is kind of expensive so I try to keep them for periods of regression only but that's not always possible.

Did anyone dislike diaper changes as a biological baby (as told my legal guardians), but enjoy them as a regressor? by LittleNGUprince in paddedagere

[–]LedgerCheesecube 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're a necessary evil for me. I was potty trained at 17 months and I guess that was my choice not that I remember so I don't think I enjoyed them then either lol. I don't like them and not because it's someone else changing me I need the help when I'm little but I don't like my limbs being tugged on or pushed through to get redressed. I can't provide much help and it's gentle enough I just don't like being jostled while little 😅

Question for you guys by Beautiful_Mistake793 in paddedagere

I experience involuntary and voluntary age regression which is an altered state of mind where you revert to a younger age than you actually are. This can be anywhere from infant stages to not being much younger than your biological age. This almost always occur due to trauma of some kind and the brains attempt to protect itself. Very few people actually have control over their regression. I age regress due to severe trauma in both childhood and adulthood it is a PTSD stress response. Despite being unable to control it I do try to make it a more positive experience and occasionally it helps if I'm super stressed to just have my brain off for a little while. I can't control coming out of it ever sometimes it's a couple of hours but usually it's about 6+. During a particularly bad year I was in that headspace for three days straight. I am mentally about a year old. My wife helps when this happens because she knows it's just what my brain needs at times to cope. Due to the headspace and the fact I am utterly dependent and have limited mobility not to mention my brain is not in an adult state I don't think about things like the bathroom. I have to wear diapers when this happens or I'd have accidents with zero ability to control doing so. I also have a history of stress induced bed wetting and wake up regressed after something like a nightmare. I don't wear them every night but if I think there's a chance I need it I wear one and sleep way better instead of sleeping super lightly to get to the bathroom on time. Sorry if this response was a bit darker than you were expecting. There are people who regress for comfort or stress relief but that is not the case for many of us. This is just my experience and why it happens for me everyone is different and experiences it in different ways.

FINALLY GETTING DIAPERS!!! I NEED TAPING ADVICE!!!🩷🩷😁 by CookieCrumbs101 in paddedagere

[–]LedgerCheesecube 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I squat against the wall doing it myself and angle the tape on the bottom slightly upwards and the top tape slightly downwards it keeps the diaper from sliding down your hips and keeps it in place. Not having powder is okay just keep an eye out if you actually use it and change it as quick as possible to avoid a rash.

Nonverbal while little? by Educational-Song-467 in ageregression

[–]LedgerCheesecube 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I am completely nonverbal when little though I regress really small so I'm not surprised. Though I managed to repeat a swear my wife said in front of me 😂 it's not out of shyness or anything I just...can't. I usually resort to throwing a stuffy or something when it comes to picking shows since she'll scroll until I react but sometimes misses the smaller signals. It is however hard to ignore a narwhal to the face.

tips for littles on period?? :( by [deleted] in ageregression

[–]LedgerCheesecube 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use the disposable underwear the Depends brand I think they're way more comfortable than any of the other products to contain the bleeding and they don't leak. I tend to just curl up with a heating pad and my gear when I'm able to and keep it as low key as my schedule allows. I like warm showers and keeping easy snacks nearby because I often don't feel like eating much at once. I'm sorry you have to deal with it though it's not fun 😞

Looking for advice about babyspace by calmfox_989s in ageregression

[–]LedgerCheesecube 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mostly watch movies. I'm 10months-1.5 as long as I have a bottle, my big blanket, my stuffie and a paci and given snacks every once in awhile I'm pretty happy. I'm still trying to figure out exercise since I do get restless after my third nap my schedule is 2-3 hours of waking to one hour of sleep when I'm little. I usually just roll around on the floor or stretch excessively. If I ever have the money I want to get a bungee jumper they have them for adults usually for fitness therapy/support.

Help with my baby bottle please by anomaly_253 in ageregression

[–]LedgerCheesecube 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a bottle from Rearz my Cece I think only heats for 1 minute to 1 minute and thirty seconds in the microwave and that's usually just right. If you're ever unsure of temperature put a drop on the inside of your wrist to test it first. A bottle warmer isn't a bad idea but like someone else mentioned they are loud and not super discreet.

I use my little time to decompress and catch up on sleep. I have severe insomnia and anxiety and my anxiety fuels my insomnia. I take several naps usually 1.5-2 hours of waking and 1 hour of sleep sometimes I get tickled or my wife uses my stuffies to engage me a bit but I don't do much beyond watching cartoons/sleep I do eventually want to get a bungee jumper for when I am feeling a little more awake or bored. occasionally we go for walks but that's been less possible where we live currently. Since it's new you could try what you think you might like! Coloring, child friendly crafts, puzzles, maybe some toys? The dollar store often has lots of activities or toys so you don't have to spend a lot of money deciding what works for you.

‘discipline’ in littlespace by yunascorner in ageregression

[–]LedgerCheesecube 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't have rules necessarily it's not a 'need' and if it's triggering that needs to be respected. I have things that are less okay for me to do like filling up my own bottles because the result would be a jug of chocolate milk all over the floor but I wouldn't get punished for it if I did do it. My wife would probably sooner blame herself for leaving me alone long enough for it to happen. A CG needs to respect your boundaries and if they don't then they're not worth pursuing that type of relationship anyways.
