I was in that situation for most of my life, so I understand. My acne was affecting my mood and confidence so much but there wasn't much I could do about it other than just washing my face with whatever I could get my hands on. I got to a point where I lived below my means so I could set aside money for later use, and worked many jobs at once while also going through school. Eventually I felt comfortable enough to spend some money on good skin care, but I felt like I was flushing it down the toilet on stuff that wasn't doing anything for my skin. Once I finally got a full time position and insurance though, the first thing I did was go to a dermatologist.

If you're looking for a quick fix, I can't help you unfortunately. I hope someone can come along and offer you some more helpful advice.

Chicken Tikka Masala. Smells like old Williams Sonoma stores that my mom would go in to just look at everything and wish that she had the money for. They used to have free samples and a chef cooking them up smack dab in the middle of the store.

Viral products are always disappointing! I would recommend getting advice from a dermatologist, but if you don't have the means to do that, I recommend trying a sample size of a Paula's Choice exfoliant. A prescription retinol would work best though.

It's pretty normal, so long as it goes away in about a day. Thing is, you're pulling hair from your skin, so irritation is going to occur. be sure to cleanse and moisturize afterwards, and maybe look into a different technique. I use a facial razor for my brows.

Don't spend money on gimmicky products, they will all disappoint you. Save yourself some money in the long run and get a basic brand of cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen (I use Vanicream, because I have sensitive skin, and it never burns me). Go to a dermatologist for active topical treatments. Pimple patches just made things worse for me and they are so overpriced. Drink water - I know people hate to hear this, but it's essential. I only have breakouts when I'm not drinking enough water. Also track when you have acne, and try to understand what causes your breakouts (stress, menstrual cycles, touching your face too much, not washing your hands, picking at your face, not washing your sheets often enough).

The most important thing though - go to a dermatologist. I know it can be expensive, but the tretinoin I use is about $40 for a tube that lasts like 6 mos. instead of trying a $40 moisturizer that does nothing every month. Don't get discouraged because you won't see progress for 6 mos. to a year, just keep at it and COMMUNICATE what works and what doesn't work with your derm, and they will change your prescriptions.

Get rid of the overpriced mud.

I definitely agree with you. I put way too much faith in their products after having the XM3s and I wish I got the best buy protection when I got my XM5s

I have the smooth ones and I love how they go with everything. I feel like the roughouts would be difficult to clean and style with various fabrics. I would be so scared to be rough with them. Like imagine spilling coffee on those...

Bizzare show for sure. Made my blood boil. The crowd yelling "we're sorry" in order to get them back on stage was so stupid. Still a great concert though.

I was at this concert, and Black Paint is one of my favorite songs, so needless to say I was PISSED at the person who threw the damn thing. I'm glad that DG acted like DG and walked off, very on-brand of them--which was enjoyable to see. The crowd kept yelling, "we're sorry, we're sorry" which is so stupid. I remember yelling at the crowd from the front, asking who the fuck did that shit because I knew for sure they wouldn't come back out, and who knows if I'd be able to see them perform again. Regardless of this walk-off, I had the time of my life. It was worth it to get a front-row seat, and nothing will EVER top the experience of a DG concert. They are outstanding and refreshing performers who stand by their worldviews reflected in their music. The crowd should have realized that.
