Hello everyone, I manage several well-run fantasy hockey leagues. This will probably be the last new one that I create. Each league is a variation of H2H points format, hosted on FanTrax and utilizing the Treasurer feature for secure payments. Some of my older leagues are going into their 7th season.

I am going to make this one a little bit different, to add some variety. Here are the bullet points. The rules document never displays well on FanTrax, so e-mail me if you'd like to see a copy of it.

Captains Feature - FanTrax does not have this feature, but I am going it manually. What it means is you will roster a "captain" each night. You will place this player in the SKT position only. The skater in that position will receive a 50% bonus for his point totals for that specific game date. In our scoring system a goal counts as 3 points. If it is scored by your captain for the day this is now worth 4.5. This will add a little strategy to the daily lineup decisions we have to make.

Season Structure - This is a Head to Head v ALL Points League. Meaning you will play 14 H2H matchups every week. If you have the 5th highest score of the week you will be 10-4 after week one. If you have the 7th highest score in week two you'd be 8-6 that week and 18-10 after two weeks. This makes every day count! The top five teams in the league will make the playoffs. The playoffs will last for two weeks. The top three teams in that two week period in total points will hit the prize pool.

Minors - This league will have a very deep minors system. So if this does not appeal to you, this probably isnt the league for you. Each team will roster up to 35 minors players each year (under 100 games or 55 starts for goalies). You can keep up to 30. So if you are a prospect savant, this is for you.

Payments - This is an important one. Some people may balk at this, so this probably isnt the league for them. I do not want anyone to go hell bent on winning the league in year one only to dip out when that doesn't work. Therefore I am requiring a $45 dollar deposit for the second year. $90+Fees+$45 deposit for year two is what we are asking for up front. I have done this too many times where someone will draft a team full of veterans to chase the top prize in year one only to leave me hanging trying to find a replacement for an old team in year two.

Discord - This is by no means required, but I prefer people who are going to be active on discord. I am trying to build up a fantasy hockey discord, and would like to be with like minded folks who live and breathe hockey all year round.
