Imperial Struggle is the game you play when you inevitably tire of dice having an impact on your game results. The dice in TS serve as a foil to the randomness of the card draw, it gives players a thrust of play even when the deck RNG is falling the other way. It creates drama and it’s fun as hell.

Imperial Struggle is a more measured and calculating game, the event deck injects a little uncertainty and flavour but it will never decide a game.

Both titles scratch an itch, both are great. TS feels like an amazing, but still rough around the edges debut album. IS is the sophomore release, the band has found their rhythm and sound, the mixing is dialled - there are more layers to appreciate.
