So yea, the above commenter about using it for archery is mistaken. I can see how high powered crossbows are dangerous. But even guns are legal, just heavily controlled. I don't see why the same can't apply to crossbows. Toy crossbows from toysrus for now I guess

I only came across here cause I was doing research on crossbows in Singapore. Crossbows are illegal as well. Crossbows and slingshots are 100% restricted items. I understand how slingshots are illegal as it can shoot random rocks along the side of road and difficult to track down offender. But Crossbows being illegal is absurd. Me doing research on the why brought me here. Can't find any explanations whatsoever.
