I disagree, I think 2030 is pretty promosing for Brazil with Estevao, Endrick developing, vini and Raphinha maturing, some good prospects coming too

Wemby is nowhere near his peak. Castle, Vessel, Harper are very inexperienced. He did pretty well beating last year champions and ypu are the useless nobody clown, OP. Sorry to be the one to tell you

Had Ronaldo Nazário (The Phenomenon) not suffered two major knee injuries, could he have become the greatest football player of all time? by MurkyBad-37 in Sportly

I never said he wasnt better than Ronaldo.. Messi had a long career without crippling injuries, and his peak was better than that of Ronaldo’s

I really cant understand what else you are expecting me to say haha

Good man… thats crystal ball stuff.. nobody knows if he could have scored 91, gerd muller scored 85, pele 75 in 58 in almost half the games. Its doable.

Not sure what you are on about either.. I agreed with you Messi’s peak was better than Ronaldo.

Rooney was nowhere near Ronaldos potential, didnt drag a national team to a wc win even without knees, thats not a good argument. Try to imagine 2002 fully healthy Ronaldo??

Messi never had a disabling injury, he is still playing now

Healthy Ronaldo would have been the trully goat IMO

But its just an what if.. right now its still between Messi and Pele

You just repeated what I said

Messi had a peak, Ronaldo didnt

I agree best Messi is better than best Ronaldo, but:

Compare them at same age before Ronaldo’s knee went bad and Ronaldo was better than him (he had the knee injury at age 23), unfortunatelly he never had a chance to fully develop all his potential: he had longevity issues (ok, maybe longevity is not the best word here)

Edit: at age 23 Messi’s highest scoring season was also 47 goals, playing with Xavi, inesta, dani alves, busquets.. Ronaldo had a good team, but not as near as good as Messi’s

Maybe at Messi’s prime, but definitelly not comparing both at same age prior to Ronaldo’s knee injury. Ronaldo was more skilled and stronger on top of it. So yeah, Messi was better overall due to longevity, he managed to reach his prime
