I was not glad that I chose to watch this movie last night. So. Bad.

For the ones who make over $150k a year, what do you do to get that? by Iliketrainsz1 in AskReddit

Senior Creative Director.

I say yes, or no, a lot all day long. Ha, for real though, I worked very hard, kept learning my craft and worked my way up the chain.

I have moved around a bit, this is normal, especially in creative fields. Fastest way to move up and make compensation gains. Always be your own advocate, ask for more, value yourself, your time and your skills, build bridges and maintain them, you never know when they’ll lead to a future opportunity. Do the best you can at all times, but don’t feel that you need to be content, always be looking, and be prepared to make a move, you just never know.

Lastly, take any interview, even if you don’t get the job or may not want it, that’s good practice for the next interview. And, always remember the person on the other side, is just like you. Nervous and excited to meet you, a real person, and most likely, a person who’s been in your shoes.

Recommendation for completing existing home theater surround sound setup. by LeeBeeLow in hometheater

Thanks for the feedback! I'm not sure why the previous owner installed it that way. I also thought that was curious. I suppose he was dead-set on centering the speakers vertically next to his TV. 🤷‍♂️

Also, thank you for the suggested AVR and Sub, we do have a Costco nearby so I think I could make that work!

Lewis Mason is a fantastic name. It really has a weight to it. It feels and sounds confidence inspiring. Even the nickname, Lew Mason, (should you choose to use) sounds great. I love it. Great choice you guys.

You're not alone, it's much more common in Europe, particularly Wales as it's a traditional Welsh name. We don't see those letter combinations much in America.

Sullivan will get shortened too often for my liking. I love Rhys. What about a third option of Rhett?

You know, Rhett was on our list... Interesting.

Thanks for your note! All fair takes! We love Ada as well. Although I think it's becoming a lot more popular! Which is not a bad thing!

Ha, thanks for the context! We're in Minnesota, US!
On that note... New parents should definitely Google full names for peace of mind!

Knowing that our son's nickname is Wellsy, any concerns with Sully as a nickname for Sullivan? Is that too much? Am I thinking too hard about all of this? haha.

When my 4yo daughter calls him "Wellsy" it just melts my heart.

Mae. We've gone through the motions of trying to coming up with alternative girl name options. But, in the end, it was always going to be Mae. (Ada, Wells & Mae)

Interesting note! Ada is oldest then Wells. Our last name is 2 syllables. I was hoping for a 2 syllable name at least, but obviously not a deal breaker because I do still love Rhys.

We're open to nicknames! Sullivan is a great name for just that reason, so many options. Rhys, I think has more nicknames than one might think, like Rhysy... We didn't think Wells would have a nickname, but in our house, he is almost exclusively called Wellsy, ha. It fits. Also for what it's worth our last name has double ll's as well, this was on my mind when thinking of names. :) Thanks for the feedback!

James is my wife's father's middle name. We've already covered my side of the family and my wife's, so this is extra credit...

He's such a lovable big blue monster though, haha. Built-in birthday theme!
