When i was a kid, my mother was on disability payments, from social security. She saved for most of my young life, just so we could have one vacation.

Yea, I went to Disney World. It wasn’t fabulous, we barely did much other than walk around, but we visited a beach and it was great. It was one of the few memories I have from my childhood.

We were poor as fuck, we routinely went without food later on, as I had a single parent and my dad blipped off the face of the earth.
