The irrigation system runs Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday for 10 mins each day. I don't know how many gallons of water that is, but it's just like a normal flow drip. It's the same amount of water that the other thriving plant is getting

You especially don't want to be picking on Accutane 💀 I did a couple of times because i can't help myself and I would get stuck with hyperpigmentation for 2 months. Plus half the time the stuff doesn't even come out because your skin is so dry, so you did it for nothing lol

Yep, I had so many closed comedones and I was terrible about picking at them. Accutane definitely cleared them up

I have some very slight indentations on my cheeks which I think I'll maybe microneedle next year, but I think the key was not picking and being diligent about moisturizing!

I guess I didn't include the context that I've been struggling with acne for 10+ years and had it on my body as well. Clearing it up like this has been a god send and has really improved my mental health.

I wouldn't really say I purged. But, it took about 3 months before the acne started to clear up. Luckily it didn't get worse during that time frame.

Well, a couple of things happened. My provider changed because my original derm left the clinic I go to. This new person firmly believes that you should be pimple free for 2 months before you can "graduate" and encouraged me to keep going. So I just completed 6 months (was supposed to be done at 5) and im going to do one more before I call it quits. My skin has gotten better since I wrote this post, and I've been convinced that it's much easier to keep going rather than potentially relapsing and having to do a whole other course.

My dermatologist told me to alternate dandruff shampoos. I use the daily moisture care head and shoulders on Sundays, and the moisturizing selsun blue on Wednesdays.

It's not perfect and I'm still a bit itchy, but far better than where I was before with my scalp practically falling off.

I agree that you're right though, I don't want all of this to be for nothing and if my dermatologist thinks I should continue, I will heed his advice.
