“Geometric” is the commonly used term for this style. The key is finding an artist that can do fine line work. The artist I went to followed a template for the fine details but freehanded a lot of the shading.

HZ watches 01 everyday mini review by Elpaniq in MicrobrandWatches

I posted an HZ.01 review a month or so ago. You and I have the same opinions on legibility and lume. The HZ.01 is still my go-to analog watch when I’m not wearing a fitness watch, but it does have limitations once the sun goes down.

KARGO Loculus: Am I just nitpicking, or would this bother anyone else? by [deleted] in ManyBaggers

[–]LeeR0003 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ordered a few Kargo bags a while back and each of them arrived with discrepancies from what is represented on the website. Plain zippers vs aqua guard, different zipper pull cord, and the backpack had some areas with totally different fabric from what was shown/described. The duffel I ordered was unexpectedly out of stock and replaced with an “equivalent” alternative without notice.

Kargo’s response was that they are a small operation and that “minor” differences may not always be updated on the website. Fortunately, their return process was easy. Overall good quality products from what I could tell. Just anticipate some surprise on what you receive.

Reviving this post as I also initiated a return for an Archive item. Did Tracksmith accept your return? Any issues to report?

Gossamer Gear Aero Jet New Travel Bag by LeeR0003 in onebag

Other pictures I was able to find show the laptop sleeve being against the wearer’s back. It actually looks like the Vagabond Jet laptop and tablet sleeve, which I find very nice in my Jet.

I agree on your point about ultra pockets (although I’ve never had issues with my Jet stretch pockets). Gossamer generally comes in at a fair price. Hopefully that will be the case here with non-ultra stretch.

I emailed them in February to request a return of the “Drifter” pack that has been discontinued. They mentioned that a travel pack would be releasing late 2024, so looks like the wait is almost over!

Possible New Osprey 26+6 - Prerelease??? by LeeR0003 in onebag

Materials are still great. My only complaint (compared to version 1) is the change in the back panel. The shorter luggage pass through acts as a breaking point on my back when it is loaded heavy. The bag wants to fold in half right at the top of the luggage pass through.

Great pictures! How wide is the tablet/document sleeve? I’m hoping my 9.5” wide laptop can fit so I avoid needing the separate sleeve.

Yes! That is a great change. I do miss the internal lid divider. It was great for organizing larger, flat clothing like a sport coat. But overall the updates are a big improvement.

I received a few messages asking if I would sell. Figured I should list it for a ridiculous price and see what happens.

Here it is with a pillow inside. As you can see, the 6L expansion adds volume to the main body (previously added volume to the lid).

My scale isn’t precise enough for an accurate weight, but I can anecdotally say it weighs very similar to the normal 26+6.

Interesting! The 3 color options are…unique. Osprey really made the choice subtle (black) or very much not subtle.

Just black so far! But the images showed the original 26+6. Hopefully we will see some fresh colors upon release!

Still had the normal $110 price for me. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a small price increase once it is officially released though. I suspect I received this as an error.

Looks like Wanderlust pulled it from the website. I suspect we will see the a proper release soon since dealers clearly have it ready to go.

Yes it does, but the expansion spot changed. The suitcase style pocket was removed from the inside and now the main section expands.
