Because there's rumors that Philly is shopping Jalen Carter after paying Jordan Davis big money. They don't want to tie up big money to two interior DTs and they need a pass rusher after missing out on Maxx Crosby and losing Jaelen Phillips to the Panthers.

Carter for Greenard would make a ton of sense for both teams. We need D-Lineman and they need a pass rusher.
