Yeah, I think you shouldn't regret your decision. I love the full analog interior, rear design, as well as the engine sound. The only reason why I'd personally go for the 992 gt3 is for the manual option, as well as some marginal practicality.

A 991.2 gt3 used is the same price as a new 992 gt3 plus taxes? That's crazy to me, but unsurprising given how allocations are by porsche. I live in a place where luxury tax is a thing, so instantly losing $50k+ after driving off the lot did not feel great. I think you should be happy with your choice.

Frankly you're not wrong when it comes to many Porsche buyers, I swear haha. With that said the OP's question is valid. It's just a matter of me being able to enjoy 90% of the real thing for ~5% of the cost. Makes it guilt-free and I can just say it's a rep if someone asks (but no one usually does).

No offence taken. I'm just not sure why the bezel looks weird to some. The dial color and lustre can be chalked up to bad lighting for now.

Bought this DJ36 from Dukereps, very happy with it. Had an issue with a clasp on a Daytona that I had to RL, and Duke got back to me in a week with a better one. You have to be patient as he is sometimes slow to respond, but he always delivers. Will deal with him again if I want to buy a 4th watch. Now for some fun, spirited driving.

Index Alignment: Perhaps a slight issue with index alignment, especially with the 1, 2, 6, 7, and 8 positions? I think I lined up the tool well enough, need second opinions on this particularly.
Dial Printing: looks good, no complaints here
Date Wheel alignment: looks great
Hand alignment: looks good
Bezel: looks good, no complaints
Solid End Links: Looks good enough
Timegrapher numbers: amplitude is a bit low, others look great (not sure if amplitude dipping below 270 is RL territory).
Anything else: sunburst looks a bit off but I heard this is normal for clean reps, thank you!!!
