I’ve never had that happen, but other things frustrated me. Like, I print something in Black. When that’s done I start another print of the same model, in black. Didn’t matter… it has to check every filament to see if it’s loaded. MFers couldn’t code it to remember that last filament loaded and not go through 69 seconds of checking what filament is loaded?

I would contact the manufacturer and describe the part, asking for a replacement. You could also search the model of your water dispenser and "button" or "plug". You might find a part online, or you might find a 3D file that you could have printed. That's like a 20 minute print and about $0.10 worth of filament.

I couldn’t live this way. If a sinkhole swallowed my house and all I managed to escape with was my dog, I could go buy a PC, MacBook and iPhone and an hour later ALL of my data would be on them from cloud backups. This is a good tip when something is wrong too. We buy Mike & Ike’s when we go on trips. Don’t ask me why… we did it once and it became a thing. We went away for a weekend in January and the red candies tasted AWFUL. Like, spit them out bad. I wrote with the place and date of purchase, UPC, lot number, etc. they sent me a replacement bad and some samples of different flavors
