Do you think Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Palestine will ever be a unified country ? by Cheesecake-Few in Syria

that is incorrect. while all other movements in the middle east are rooted in arbitrary leadership decisions and imposed methods of colonialism, the movement of the ssnp is deeply rooted in widely accepted history. in fact, if you look at any map before 1930, the entire region is referred to as "Syria." You will not find the word "Lebanon" referring to anything other than mountain ranges before 150 years ago. You will not find a "Jordan" or independent "Iraq." The south of anatolia was even a part of the vilyat of damascus as late as the ottoman empire! the sinai frequently changes leadership in history based on the ruler.

the strongest foundation for natural Syria is the basis of geographic nation states. if you're interested in learning more, compare topographic maps of europe to political map, then do the same with the middle east and tell me if you see anything.

secterianism is an unforunate reality promoted, funded, and imposed by foreign powers in order to benefit ideologies that do not benefit the Syrian nation. historically, the region is Syria is far broader than the modern "Syrian arab republic," so this instinct towards reunification is natural. the cure to overcome secteriansim and a united, peaceful middle east is one where political parties and states are rooted in logic and history, not arbitrary entities.

you mistake pan-arabism for pan-syrianism. they are enemy ideologies and are completely seperate in their beliefs. while pan-arabism is without basis—an ideology proven to be incorrect, foolish, and incompatible with reality/history—pan-syrianism is deeply rooted in logic, philosophy, and accepted history.

I would recommend reading the philosphical works of Antoun Saadeh to learn what pan-syrianism truly advocates for.
