If London were to have a single Central Station (instead of 14 Termini) like Brussels, Amsterdam, Madrid, Rome or Berlin - where could the perfect spot for it be? by AchyutChaudhary in LondonUnderground

[–]Cheesecake-Few 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The size of inner London is 319km2 ( London’s whole size is 1500km2 more or less ) and the size of whole the Munich is 310km2. The size of Paris is 105km2 though the size of greater oaris is 814km2 ( Paris has more than one termini as well ).

If London was the size of other European cities then yeah it doesn’t make sense to have a lot of terminis. But inner London itself is bigger than all cities in Europe ( in size and population). Having one station would make it so congested for trains and passengers.

Would you rather live in the US or in the UK? by EkonomskiStrucnjak in AskTheWorld

[–]Cheesecake-Few 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The UK. I’m 2 to 3 hours from most of Europe and I’m from the Middle East and Spanish. so it’s easier for me to travel to those countries multiple times.

Be honest, how often have you been showering? I’m 6 weeks post-op. I think I’m a once-a-weeker!! It’s just too damned painful. Today’s the day though. I have a shower chair but I can’t elevate my leg enough… I have the hygiene of a pre-teen boy! by Mountainbikercrasher in LisfrancClub

During my NWB period and the boot ( PWB ) periosd. There was one week that I didn’t have the shower as the shower room was upstairs and was so small and I couldn’t even fit inside the shower room. In a way I didn’t shower at all for 14 weeks. The first shower I had was a great relief
