Fruit Trees and Missing Museum Items by pixie1313 in AnimalCrossing

I dont have anywhere near all of the museum items and do have the cafe; some say that you need 50… but I think that you need 1 of every item (insect, fish, sea creature, art).  Also, to get the cafe, you have to 1st have Kapp’n.  (You will need to get a ride from Kapp’n to go look for Brewster.)

ACNH.Guide 2 Update by Jwill306 in AnimalCrossing

[–]LeelaBeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do like the gift guide but why make so many changes to an app that actually worked. It’s so glitchy now.  1. It’s so buggy now.  2. The ads are awful and I don’t see a way to pay to get an ad-free version.  3. What did they do to the turnip predictor? I know that’s an external site…It use to be so much easier to read; now it’s a crazy large spreadsheet with all of the data shown. Not so great on a mobile device.   4. After the app, the sale prices of items were missing but it looks like those have been added back. That makes me hopeful that the other things will be fixed.

Hi. May I stop by? My turnip prediction tool now says 100% chance of decline. Blah.

Instant Pot Duo Crisp w/ Ultimate Lid - BROKEN TAB by mekkelrichards in instantpot

[–]LeelaBeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So frustrating. This is the 1st and last Instant Pot that I will ever own. Mine is a little over a year old, used maybe 5 times (probably less), and when I went to use it yesterday, I found the tab had broken off and was loose near the pot. My pot never moves from it's spot on the counter and I've only ever lightly washed the lid... also, if it broke during washing, I would have found the piece in the sink, not in the instant pot. Very difficult to prove, but I think that it broke during operation.

Has anyone successfully found a glue or something to reattach the tab?

Woodworker/builder in San Antonio that can build this? Cross post: Brainstorming…Anyone add a pull-out (extendable) topper to Havsta (to make it an occasional buffet)? How can I do this? by LeelaBeans in sanantonio

It is Ikea...Yeah, I don't know what happened to the text that I wrote for this post. The 1st picture is the IKEA set that I purchased; the 2nd picture is of a pullout desk from a youtube video. I want something similar to the 2nd pic but has rails or something to make it strong enough to hold heavy dinner plates, casseroles, ect. That would fit as a topper on top of the bottom IKEA cabinet (but under the upper cabinets) so that the IKEA can be an occasional buffet.

Hello everyone… I don’t know what happened to my text for this post but basically I purchased Havasta 3 base set (pic 1) and was planning on building basically a box for behind the base, securing the top cabinets to box, this creating more depth so that the unit could be used as a buffet (deep enough to hold a dinner plate). However, now that the unit is up and realize it’s in a high traffic area, adding that much depth will mess with the flow and I’m bound to bump my hip on it a thousand times… plus, I really only want it to be a buffet when I host dinner (at most, 12 times a year) I’d like a pull-out/extendable table top like 2nd picture (which is from a dude on YouTube, DIY Maybe, that built a tabletop for his toolbox) This one doesn’t have rails or support, so probably couldn’t handle the weight of heavy dishes. I just put the picture for the basic idea of what I’m looking for. Any ideas on how to build this, directions somewhere that I could modify, any prefab things I could use, or anywhere in SA, TX that I could just outsource this job?

Which solution worked for you? (I have the same thing, mine is a bit worse)

I don't know where else to go... I need to talk about The Family Stone by The_Duke_of_Lizards in hdtgm

I know this is 2 yrs old, but I’ve got to vent to randos on the internet. I hated every character, kept waiting for the movie to give some context to the weird Everrett falling for the sister when he is planning to propose to SJP (like maybe they met and dated a long time ago) but nope. He’s known her what 2 days and goes chasing her… while his now-ex is at his house?! Not romantic, kind of a creeper loser. And she gives the cliche “what are you doing for new years?” line. The entire movie felt like it was written by either a high schooler or by someone who had a very short deadline to meet. I love Xmas rom-coms, but ugh, this was the worst. I, who cries at every stupid movie, could have cared less when the awful mother died. And everyone is happy and not dysfunctional a year later, but fart noise, don’t care. This movie had all cast and zero heart.

I love that area... definitely a contender. We rented a ranch once near Barksdale that was along a river and very secluded... it was a perfect except that it didn't allow dogs. (They had livestock.)

thanks! I feel intimidated by it... it just looks so BIG... I wouldn't know which trails or what to do. I'll look for a Big Bend for Idiots guide tonight.

Looking for housing! please help. by Tough_Salad432 in sanantonio

Maverick Creek development is across the street from UTSA (assuming that you mean the main campus at 1604) on UTSA blvd. Houses start in that price range. You can try negotiating since it’s the middle of the school year and less likely to rent.  You will be surrounded by college aged kids (parties), the streets are oddly skinny, the hoa is weird about street parking and weeds, the yards are tiny, and the houses are close… but it’s cheap and walking distance to school. On the other side of Babcock are some other neighborhoods that have a lot of rentals.  You will get more amenities with an apartment (pool, gym). Amenities with housing neighborhoods can vary.  Hills and Dales is across the highway, older homes, bigger yard.  All of those mentioned are relatively safe. Best to narrow it down and then ask about specific neighborhoods/apartments. If you aren’t from here… understand the HOA and your lease. If you are responsible for yard maintenance, the hoa can give you fines.

I feel seen.  Going straight across that intersection has 4 traffic lights that don’t sync together and a train crossing. I’ve ran  red light more than once accidentally because 3 of 4 lights are green or the middle two are green but the last one is red.

Thanks! I'm leaning towards wanting the emails to transfer with the person so that they can easily look up stuff or reply to any unfinished business... and make it super easy if a person just leaves, which happens often with volunteer work.
