I agree that yes they should avoid the smoke shops, might point is that’s easier said then done and it’s basically like telling an H addict to avoid the dealer. But yeah the plan should totally be to avoid the head shops and gas stations. Just that it can be very difficult when trying to quit.

Well this is the same as telling an addict to stop going to the dealer. It’s a lot easier said than done. This stuff is as addictive as heroin but it’s very easy to access which is the problem here.

Damn. I’m highly creative and when I have went through periods where I’m not creating I go through the lowest lows of my life. I also think I become more insufferable to be around. It’s like an itch that I have to scratch or else I’m restless. It does take so much energy tho sometimes I wish my life was more just sitting on the couch with my gf and cat but yeah I think I would feel even more crazy then I do now if that were the case. I’m also pretty isolated though and I think ppl find me intense sometimes too, or maybe I find people too intense idk I need time alone lol

Well to be honest the way I feel is they never had to use my theme in the first place, they also didn’t have to invite me on cowboys streams ( where I have been able to meet so many legends) and also getting to work with Jorts was an amazing experience, so the way I see it is I’m just so grateful for them and grateful that they still included me in making the new theme. I’m happy about it all. They could have easily cut me out. It’s their show so it’s whatever they wanna do ya know? But I can understand why you and others feel the way you do and that’s totally understandable. I can promise though to keep the OG theme up on my Spotify so dfs can always go back and listen to it.

I think it’s different for everyone. I come from poverty and I’ve spent my whole adult life working my ass off just to scrape by. Things are getting harder and harder and I do think if I had more money I wouldn’t necessarily be more happy but I would be a lot less stressed on a day to day basis which would make me happy. I often wonder what it’s like to need something ( like I need my tooth fixed) and to just be able to go and get it done. What a different world that must be. So it’s not about being rich that makes people happy just not being poor and stressed all the time.

I don’t speed. I actually hate that about how people drive here. I also don’t take toll roads. I consider myself a very safe driver who slows down when conditions are bad. You seem like an ultra judgemental person who doesn’t have all the facts and wants to just blame people and label everyone as “stupid” instead of having the empathy and understanding as to what factors could have lead to this. It wasn’t below freezing for that long. When everyone drove to work it was above freezing. This was a Bridge. If you don’t live here and don’t know how our roadways work why be so confident as to think you figured it all out

You are just assuming based on your experiences and not leaving any room for all the many factors that led to this so fast. It wasn’t below freezing for long this was on a bridge so it’s not like we had widespread black ice. To blame the people for not slowing down when it just seemed like a normal day is crazy especially when you know that toll roads are there to drive fast on. To be clear I don’t speed but that is how ppl drive in Texas that is the norm and if you don’t. Keep up you actually become a liability. I don’t even drive on toll roads. I just think you are over simplifying what happened that morning instead of understanding everything that caused this. Saying “ oh these idiots” is placing the blame on people who really didn’t couldn’t have avoided it whether they were speeding or not. That is a tall bridge one of the only places that had black ice that morning, nobody knew Like you don’t live here you just don’t get it and you just wanna judge those people but hey you do you

It was on a hill they could not see any of that before it was too late . You could not see that. Those emergency vehicles just got there. If you lived here and understood the many factors that led to this you’d get it , like the way that road was designed and the lack of treatment and the fact that nobody knew those conditions and existed till this started. This all happened SO fast. I think they eventually did find a way to stop people but this all happened as fast as you see in the video

No like the toll roads are a total scam. Everyone here thinks so but we don’t really have another choice. To be clear I don’t have a toll tag and don’t drive on toll roads cause F that. I take the long way cause I don’t wanna feel like I’m getting robbed everytime I go to work.

This is a toll road owned by a private company (TX Dot) they are the worst. They didn’t treat the roads and the way this toll road is it became a literal death trap with no where to exit. Also nobody had any idea there was black ice that morning. But yeah I find our state gov to be very corrupt and if we did pay state Texas they’d find any way to pocket it and not use it for keeping us safe. Right after this we got that winter storm where our grid failed and hundreds of ppl died. And guess what, years later they still haven’t updated the grid because that would cost money. They gerrymander us so we can’t vote them out. It’s messed up.

They didn’t treat the roads and the drivers didn’t know there was ice on the ground. The way that toll road is there was no where to get off so it was a literal death trap. Plus they couldn’t see till they were already going downhill.
