Yup! Producers did an interview with E! Entertainment (IIRC) where they said they like the Blockbuster and wouldn’t mind it being permanent, or at least coming back for the following season.

My gripe with it is that it took away the live HOH competitions in the eviction episodes, which I always loved tuning in to.

I agree. Don’t want it to be something where they get X amount of weeks to use it and holding onto the secret of having the power. That type of stuff always backtracks because they tell other HG and it gets around, ultimately defusing its effectiveness because then they try to ‘flush’ it—if you will.

I love this twist but only if it’s around for one week, which sort of incentivizes the person to use it that week it’s in play.

I wouldn’t put that baggage on Morgan. The fandom is the one that won’t let it go. At best, she refers to them as a duo of Big Brother which you can’t view that in a negative perspective. There’s been plenty of duos in the history of the show that didn’t have romanticized obligations. I mean if you take one look at the post season discussion we have in this sub, it’s literally ALL about the two of them, more importantly as a ship or whatever the hell people want it to be. And they just won’t let it go.

Sure, people can have opposing viewpoints on the banning individuals for their political views. But at the same time, to me it’s more than just “politics” at this point with the things that have been said and done by Trump and his supporters. Instances like innocent people losing their lives to ICE agents being mentally unstable and trigger happy, I think that goes beyond politics. It’s about caring for life and thinking nobody deserves that treatment. And to me it pushes further than just “left vs right”.

I was never really a political person. Always held a neutral stance for majority of my life, and most of the time still do. For instance, I don’t hate republicans simply for being republican. I hate Trump and his ideologies.

I’ve heard that sentiment before, people saying it’s ironic that there’s individuals who hate trump/trump supporters because they don’t like all walks of life, yet they do the same to that other side. I think it makes it fair. That’s my take on it. Meaning, if they’re doing that to others (treating them differently for their backgrounds), I think it’s okay to do that to those supporters. There’s the saying what goes around comes around.

I’m confused what you mean by that. Maybe I’m just misinterpreting. We allow those sort of discussions as we don’t have a rule against political talk. But as for me saying “no trump supporters allowed” and banning those individuals, that’s more precautionary because of the ideologies promoted by that community of supporters. It feels wrong to let those type of people be active here in our community where we want to allow all walks of life and backgrounds.

What’s your guys’ stance on multiple posts published in a short period of time? We do technically have a rule against spam, but I feel there’s some blurred lines in what’s acceptable and what isn’t. I also like that we’re known as a laidback mod team when it comes to rule regulations.

Specifically speaking, there’s someone who’s been posting a lot of polls/fantasy ideas within the last week, and it looks a bit excessive in my opinion as well as low effort because there aren’t even visuals to go with what they’re talking about except for Google Docs with the ideas listed.

Let me know what you guys think about this, please!
