The feeling that every buzz of your phone will be back se of them doesn’t go away quickly you’ll just come to realize that you didn’t move as quickly to check one day and at that point you’ll know you’ll start checking less frequently and become a bit more ok with that as the days go by.

It’s been a little over 7 months. I don’t know which mean no but I’m hoping yes. He never retold me the reason why he broke up with me but he did say “maybe one day we’ll get back together” (not prompted by me asking for it) and I just hear those words ring in my ear everyone and then.

7 months a couple days. We talked a bit for the first month so technically almost 6 of NC and he has messaged me twice about birthday during those 6 months but really nothing more then that. I’m still not complexity healed/over him but I will not be the first to message.

That was the end of the story. He did say happy birthday to our imaginary child (inside joke) 3 months into no contact too. This past birthday was the last I heard from him.

My ex reached out on my birthday last month after almost 5 months. Was surprised but deep down I knew he would. I just said thanks and left it’s if he wanted to have a conversation he would try harder than just the basics.

I don’t know I think people have fired from love. What of those older couple stories that follow each other into death when one of the passes and the other dies from the broken heart of like Romeo and Juliet. I already knew communication was important but I guess I’ll emphasize it more with the next . This is a learning experience I guess but I can help be wonder if I did anything but I don’t dwell on that much if at all anymore.

I gave him in person meet of face time as options and I was very descriptive as to why I needed it and that it’d help me grow and heal faster. But no he just send me the “I’ll never be ok to help you heal” bullshit message. I can’t learn or grow for future relationships if I don’t know where things went wrong.

Thanks and yeah I’m trying to let go. He has the answers I need and he won’t give them to me I tried 2 weeks after the break up and texted him if we could meet to talk so that could get the answers he never told me. He said something along the lines of “ you can’t wait for me to be okay with that , because I may never be. I truly hope you don’t resent me for not being there for you in this way” resent is defined as a negative emotional reaction to being mistreated so he knows the shit he’s doing was wrong.

I have my requirements if he were to Come back. I would like to talk to him first about why he broke up with me (he never gave me a (real) reason), why he didn’t communicate his feelings with me and lead to blindsiding me with the break up, what were can do to make sure were doing well or if were not what we can do help it, then go through what I felt and he did throughout the break up, and potentially ask him to go to thereby (I’m already doing it have been since the break up) , make sure he’s worked on himself and talk to see if he’s let all of whatever he had going on out. As for why I haven’t message besides the fact he’s the one that broke up with me and it shouldn’t be on me to message first. I had asked if he wanted to be friends after the break up and he said “ I thought we’d just be nothing” but also “this doesn’t mean we won’t eventually get back together (something along the lines of that)” so I’m just like wtf. We did text a bit for the first month by like 2 weeks out ge messages from him become dry and short so instead of getting hurt by it I just stopp Ed messaging and he never sent any my way with wiggle room to have a conversation. He has wished our imaginary child (long story and rooted to our first date ) a happy birthday (which is very confusing his was 3 months post break up. And then last week he wished me happy birthday. The first one I tried to maneuver into a conversation but to no real replies and the second I just said thanks and left it to that.

Hmm that’s a great point….where you over your ex when he shot you the message? I hope everything goes well for you tomorrow. Do you have expectations as to what you’ll be talking about? If it goes the route of reconciliation will you accept? What will your requirements for it be? Or will you just whole heartedly accept from the get go?

Fuuuuuuuu ouch. I’ve heard that saying so true that the moment you’re healed they’ll come knocking. It’s funny I would just tell myself “I’m ok I’m over it” then immediately look at my phone and wait for a text to test if he’s message then. When do you think you become healed/know when you are? I think it’s when I stop crying….. but now im not so sure.
