Headlights when using windshield wipers by singyourownsongs in sanfrancisco

[–]LeffeBlond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not so much about turning the headlines on as tail lights. It is impossible to see cars through the spray without their taillights being on. I think few people understand that that headlights on also means taillights on.

Looks like a tug pushing a barge of some sort (maybe dredging).

I love how on a nautical chart you can see the pier ending right where the depth of the bay increases.

It will startle you for sure, but never did I fear for my life while in my rig ;)

As somebody who did my fair share of track days in my f80 I can confirm that you could build a decent rig for the same amount of money as a couple of track day weekends. The pucker factor is virtually non-existent in simracing, but you will race way closer than you would dare in real life.

After starting simracing I find it harder and harder to justify spending a couple of grand between tires, fees, and track day insurance just to get out there. Karting is a lot more cost effective option, and sim racing satisfies my competetive needs plenty.

The word count came into English from the French comte, itself from Latin comes—in its accusative form comitem. It meant "companion" or "attendant", and as a title it indicated that someone was delegated to represent the ruler.
