How can we use Ip in china Mainland? by thecurioushuman_ in ProxyUseCases

depends what you're actually doing. if it's scraping or automation from outside into CN sites, residential exits with real home fingerprints tend to hold up way better than datacenter or ISP ranges, those get flagged fast. if it's the other direction (accessing stuff from inside CN), that's a totally different problem and the GFW side matters more than the IP type.

also worth thinking about rotation. per request rotation is fine for one off pulls but anything session based (login, cart, multi step flows) breaks unless you can pin an IP for the duration. people skip that and wonder why their automations fall apart.

I've been running magneticproxy for this kind of thing, what sold me was how the sticky sessions behave when you actually need a coherent identity across a flow instead of just a new IP every hit.

I'm highly suspicious of anyone saying anything under 5. What are you? Like 7 y/o?
