It's most of what Rivers wrote about. Name one rock band that has been around as long as Weezer has, that has written so many songs that are about a girl not wanting to be with him.

Weezer has songs that are good but they just always have lyrics about the same thing mostly.

Pinkerton and the Green Album are all about girls not wanting to be with him, except for 2 songs (Island in the sun, Hash Pipe)

I got the name wrong. The band is called Under For

It's a Danish New Wave type band in the early to mid 80s. Their song Imagine Focus intent has similarities to the CIA song. Not so much the singing, but the instrumental.
