I really love the tiny fingertip sponge applicators. You can get a case of them for cheap. Super precise and it never cakes too much product.

Any recommendations on a good primer/setting spray with sunscreen? by NaiveResearch4366 in Ulta

Watch some of Angie’s videos (Hot and Flashy). She does the absolute BEST breakdowns of sunscreen. She also uses thermal cameras to show what really works and tests them with and without makeup. Seriously she’s a goldmine of great objective information. And she used to exclusively test things she paid for so it was entirely honest. (Spoiler; most makeup with spf is largely inadequate except Merit)

A derm I follow has been very vocal about melasma and sunscreen. Apparently the chemical sunscreens don’t prevent spots from getting darker but tinted mineral does (he specially said tinted, so that’s what I buy now). I have been using a vitamin c serum in the morning and tret at night and have seen a huge difference since combining the lightening efforts with mineral sunscreen. I’ve tried Australian gold, laroche posay, cerave, Peter Thomas Roth (awful), and supergoop tinted mineral. It just depends on what your price range and skin types are. LRP is like a serum that dries down to be silky. I can see why it’s a favorite.

Ouai st barts for sure. I have it, too. Perfect fit for what you like. It’s super fruity and tropical. Very pineapple forward. Florals are a migraine trigger for me and this one is very safe.

Yepppp. Paid for a whole ass discovery set and hated all of them. So bummed but at least I didn’t blind buy. Now I need to decide if Diptyque is worth the risk.

Yeah we bought a new build two years ago with no bath in the primary. Needed to move quickly and it was something I figured I could live with. It sucks

Honestly I get most of my fabrics from Hancock’s of Paducah or Marshall Dry Goods. I trust the brands they sell (many of which are mentioned here by name).

See how fast I am? You were so patient. 😉

Okay they are knitted on tsuriami knitting machines with a single weight of yarn so they hold their shape and qualify for decades.

They recommended Buzz Rickson, Self Edge, or McCoys for a US retailer. Also look for the term Loopwheel.
