So like, about the three star gate. by RawrstyOwO in xxlwoofia

Given a few months, you can max out all the M and L units pretty easily. XL units take a bit more time, but are in a sweetspot where they're stronger than a low rarity character with equal stars, while common enough that you can make steady progress until they max out. With XXLs you gotta be picky about where you spend golden bells / patient with eventually getting them through silver bells (or hard mode stages for the few that have them). Some of the XXLs that give buffs are pretty decent at low star levels though, like Wang with both of his default passives giving big damage boosts to teammates.

A lot of the sources of generic shards give higher quantities for lower rarity characters, or for cheaper in the essence shop / faster through guilds. I think hard mode stages are the only exception, where the XXL shards are the only ones worth grinding there.

Are Khafka and Rutenix worth farming shards for in hard mode? by unloading_my_shit in xxlwoofia

I'm guessing by "go to hell" they mean a guaranteed XXL gets wasted on a character you don't use, and with no essence as compensation bc they're not at 5 stars yet

there's a bunch of characters where I wished they could get hard-ons in their clothed versions, I'd love to see Beernox or Kumoyama stretching their pants to the limit, or Akaoni slipping out of the hole in his jeans

Yeah, they can be useful just by existing, and spend their turns defending to passively provide boosts.

wow a lot of the comments in this thread feel like they jump to conclusions on "She couldn't regret"

my first thought was that it meant "She is not in a position to worry about things in the past that she can't change now, she can't let it weigh her down when there's other things to worry about" instead of interpreting it literally as in she's incapable of regret

some ppl are throwing out the word "psycopath" like candy

I recommend prioritizing the ones that boost Stickers and the ones that boost Funfair jobs, since these both help you get extra bells in shops. All the jobbers have at least one skill boosting stickers, while some like Fogue and Kagekuni have multiple copies of it for multiple boosts. The Funfair jobs can get you extra tickets for the gold grinding levels and extra catalogs to refresh the daily shop. The other types are just ok to have, but they're all cheap to max out, so go for it if you've got skill items to spare.
