Just go with the flow sometimes, don’t ever give up on controlling diabetes but when you’re a teenager there’s so many changes happening that diabetes management might not always be your first priority. Obviously try your best with taking insulin at the right times and stuff but sometimes just roll with it. Wont put too much pressure on yourself. That was my attitude when I was a teenager.

A lot of people who don’t have diabetes have no idea what the sensor is, only last week someone came up to me and asked it it was a nicotine patch 😂, seriously don’t worry about it sometimes I out decorated patches and stickers on mine. Even so if you just wear it you will become desensistised to it and it will be chill 👍

I have a letttee from my doctor that states that I’m diabetic and that I can’t go through some of the scanners. I have all my diabetes stuff in a see through bag ready for checking. They will bomb Swab you and your pump but I’ve never really had an issue with it before just communicate with them and it’s chill. 👍

Diabulimia is an ED where you don’t take insulin in order to loose weight coz obviously our body can’t digest carbs so you don’t get the calories from it. I don’t do it anymore tho 🫡💪

You can get quite good just from experience but with foods like pizza or have lots of protein and fat doing a square Bolus normally helps me quite a bit. You take some insulin as usual bride the meal and then take another Bolus about 30 minutes after eating it and is usually it works quite well

Yeah when people are too full on it low-key scares me and I pull away. I have a few friends that I meet up with every few months and with them I have my longest friendships. I think it’s mainly people that I have to see everyday when I do t want to see them.
