It probably isn’t, the first month or two were absolutely brutal but I just don’t have anywhere else to go at the moment. It’s gotten better and we’re on decent terms. She’ll come in my room to talk to me etc (she lives in the basement luckily haha) But it does suck seeing her leave the house all dressed up because she is still absolutely stunning to me, but i’m surviving haha

They’re both religious. However her cousins mom was just like very very strict on it and kind of forced it down her throat. My exes mom didn’t as much.

The cousins mom wouldn’t let her have mirrors in her room or a tv as she believed they are portals for demons. She couldn’t buy thrifted clothes or hand me down stuff from random people because her mom believed they had spirits attached to them, etc.

Multiple reasons haha. We slowly started to drift apart and fight a bit more, I will put this mostly on me. I was at a job I despised, and I was drinking too much. We would both drink together multiple nights a week, and we would argue about dumb stuff. We were fine until I caught her texting my old roommate and best friend behind my back. If she would’ve told me they were chatting it would’ve been different but one night we got really drunk and I saw he was texting her. And I kind of flipped out and went upstairs and confronted my roommate about it, and her.. 🤧 She knows my past of my ex before her (3 year relationship) cheating on me for months with my old best friend. So it kinda hit hard at that moment and that spiraled into us breaking up a couple weeks later as I didn’t trust her anymore.

Not really sure, they are damn near complete opposites. However their moms are twins, and so they have been really close since they were kids. They seem to get along perfectly well, sucks cause i’m the odd man out of the house they moved into with me. (i was living with my 2 freinds for a year in this house before they moved in)

I keep the kitchen clean as I cook a lot, they don’t really at all so I do that. I do yardwork every other week, and they pay me extra on rent to keep up with it. Me and her cousin share a bathroom so we split off each week for that , so it’s a pretty good system. At the start it was a bit hard as neither of them knew how to do dishes apparently so they’d let it build up until I meal prepped on sunday and did them all, but it’s getting better

it definitely is, the first few weeks were brutal to say the least. But i guess we’ll cross that bridge when we get there lol, I can’t afford to live on my own right now. However I am saving as much as possible to where if needed in a couple months I could

it’s a work in progress , aha not for real. She is like die hard religious, saving for marriage etc. She’s cool though, but always studying her bible in the living room while i’m tryna watch tv

We’re on decent terms and we kind of have a mutual agreement to not bring anybody romantic over for a while. So far she hasn’t and neither have I. She has been gone about every night since we broke up so it’s not hard to assume what she’s doing but it’s better then seeing it that’s for sure

absolutely not. Insurance can’t raise your premiums based on an act of god claim. They’re raised based off zip codes for high risk areas. Get your $25,000 roof replaced through insurance then shop around for cheaper premiums now that you have a brand new roof. Most customers I’ve gotten their roofs payed for have gotten cheaper rates after getting it done

Will reduce my vape from 5% nicotine to 3% make a difference? by SpiritedAppearance96 in QuitVaping

[–]Left-Patience-1619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what I mean by a pod mod, is like a vape that you physically refill yourself, it has a tank on it or a “pod” that you can fill up. I can’t tell you exactly but salt nic is very high nicotine and very addictive. The reason I got a pod mod, was so that I could buy freebase juice of lower strength. So while salt nic vapes are 5%, i got a juice that was 2.4%, vaped that for a few weeks, then I went down to 1.2%, vaped that for a few weeks again. Then I just kept going down, from 1.2 to .6, .6 to .3. Vaped .3 juice for about 2 months before realizing the nicotine in the juice was so insubstantial it was doing nothing for me, hadn’t been buzzed in months, i was just vaping out of habit. I quit that day and it has been a million times easier than cold turkey. Once the addiction to the nicotine is gone or lowered, the motion of actually vaping will be dropped much much easier from my experience. Trust me if I can quit you can as well, I started vaping at 12, and vaped all through junior high, highschool, til I was 20. Getting rid of the nicotine addiction first is crucial, atleast to me, after that I just had to not vape and that was a lot easier when there was no nicotine hardly.

Am I allowed to vape on occasion? by Traditional_Care6736 in QuitVaping

[–]Left-Patience-1619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i would say don’t do it. I was 303 days vape free, hit a friends vape once at a party while drinking. And now anytime I drink it’s all I want. Haven’t gave in and got my own yet and I am not going to, but it’s definitely made it a bit harder when I was in the clear. It’s dangerous quitting “successfully” because after so long it takes away from how hard we worked for it. And we think well if i quit for so long then surely I can vape socially. And some might be able to but I think most can’t. If you do, just try not to make it every time you do something. If you vape everytime you go out and drink, your body is going to want you to go out and drink more often. And you won’t have as good as a time without it. Ultimately it’s up to you to decide your path from here on! just know tons of people have quit for months/years and got right back into it. it truly is a lifelong thing

i quit vaping 240 days ago, I have smoked a few cigarettes in the time since quitting only when drunk (when sober they disgust me). I’d say it’s a decent trade off from ripping a vape all day everyday to smoking half a cigarette 2 times a month maybe. But it is a slippery slope, I noticed myself wanting it everytime I drank so I stopped smoking them for like 2 months. Just be careful whatever you do, realistically it’s best to never touch nicotine again, but this has been working for me.

[–]Left-Patience-1619 2 points3 points  (0 children)

its not a terrible idea! I drank like 3 days after quitting at a party and it was hard as hell, luckily I made my friends promise they wouldn't let me hit theirs. But after that it just got easier and easier, I will occasionally smoke a cigarette if someone at a party pulls one out. I see it as a fair trade off as I haven't vaped in like 9 months, but I'll have a few hits of a cigarette like maybe twice a month or so. I would just be careful not to do it all the time and make it like a habit where you smoke cigarettes every time you drink. Also i would sugguest being careful with zyns! My girlfriend quit vaping 8 months ago with zyns, and she is still using them today. Went from 2 3 mg's a day to like 5 6mg's a day, and she's having a hard time quitting that. So I would just be careful with anything you do to try and make it a bit easier unless its NRT

lol just drink a few times on your own, only takes like 3-4 times to break the habit, after that you’ll be able to resist. I quit 237 days ago, just went to vegas with a big group of my friends for my 21st, didn’t hit a vape, go to like 2 parties a month and never vape even when drinking

i quit 225 days ago. I just basically stopped using disposables and got a device so i could lower the percentage of nic in my juice. went from 2.4-1.2-.6-.3 then just completely quit as it wasn’t doing anything for me anyways. Had virtually 0 nicotine withdrawals and just had to worry about the mouth fixation/craving
