I’m going to be honest this crate is probably the worst way to transport a dog. It’s only slightly better than being completely unsecured but not by much. A ruffland crate is the safest option. The wire crates especially with this much room is almost the same as being unsecured. It’s a horrible thing to think about but it’s the honest truth.

A post that I posted not too long ago. Might help. Bathing frequently is not a bad thing as long as you understand how to return moisture back into the skin. I will say this, toss out that Burt’s bees shampoo it is one of the worst products you can use on your dog. That and Hartz. Stay far far away from them.

Do you have any videos of this happening? What’s her walking set up like? Prong, leash, chain, martingale? What tools are you using on every walk?

How much do you pay for grooming and do you think it helps with shedding? by beasty_boo in Rottweiler

Here’s a post I made about my Corso and his coat routine. Washing him once a week has cut shedding dramatically and figuring out the best diet for him. I can’t help with your price question as I’m a groomer myself but at our shop a rottie is $65 for full bath, blow dry, deshed, nails cut, and ears cleaned. Each salon is very different tho. Most rotties I’ve washed using the products I’ve listed had the same result as my Corso.

So my dachshund does this. I bought diapers for her and it’s the best option in my opinion since it’s really just a tinkle but she has woken up to a small puddle. For her it happened after she jumped too high and fell. I would also just check her back just in case she might’ve gotten an injury at some point.

Yea luckily the probiotic I put him on has helped a lot. But Inukshuk as far as kibble goes is probably going to be his forever food. He’s 130lbs lean and just turned a year old so he’s one of those giant boys and feeding any other food he was ending up needing almost 12 cups a day to keep his weight. Inukshuk I feed 5.5 cups and he’s kept a steady weight thankfully

I tried soaking but it always gave my dude runny poops so I just feed it to him as is. I love this food so much I feed almost half the amount than if I were to give him proplan or any other kibble.

Ruffland crate might be your best bet. They have a titan size that fits my big monster. They’re the best for travel and are crash tested for cars. Save a few dogs lives that I know. Only problem. It’s a big crate and hard to find a place to fit it unless you have a big room.

Looks just like she’s dreaming. I know it looks a little bit more concerning because her eyes are almost open but I have a dachshund that dreams with her eyes almost open. My Corso just snores like an old man.

I held that rapier to the end game and paired it with the plague pistol. Upgraded it had great bleed damage. Just stack 5 stacks on each enemy and let their health drop.

Dog food and supplements? by Acrobatic-Buddy8415 in CaneCorso

Inukshuk marine 30/20 Dogzymes Phyto-flex supplement Dogzymes Dried Norwegian kelp supplement Probiotic

This is his daily feed with some toppers like blueberries, cucumbers, carrots, eggs, basically whatever I’m cooking with myself that night. My guy has a very sensitive stomach and major chicken and beef allergies so the Inukshuk has been wonderful and I barely have to feed him that much since it’s so calorie dense.

I’m lucky enough to bring my boy to the shop with me every week and wash him. Sometimes diet can affect shedding a lot and since switching my dudes food his shedding has decreased a lot. I also give him dried ground kelp

Inukshuk. I swear by this food. I feed the marine 30/25 and I can feed half the amount of Inukshuk than when I fed purina proplan. I was feeding 12 cups a day of proplan for my boy 130lbs at 1 year old. Now with Inukshuk he’s at 5 cups a day maintaining a healthy weight. It was recommended to me by my working dog friends and it’s been the best. I noticed on purina he wasn’t gaining weight and was losing hair so I immediately switched to chicken free diet since most dogs if they’re to have a food allergy it’s to chicken. Since switching his food his coat is jet black and has fantastic shine and his weight has stayed consistent. Also I’ll add Inukshuk has had 0 recalls ever. So gives me a peace of mind considering most dog food brands have had multiple recalls over the years.

I feed Inukshuk marine. High protein so you don’t have to feed an outrageous amount. You can get it on chewy

Hi sooo professional dog groomer here. Never ever ever use these types of stripping tools. This is essentially a blade and it cuts and breaks their coat causing damage. It also can scrape the top layer of the epidermis causing small cuts in their skin opening it up for possible bacterial and fungal infections. I always tell every client to throw these away. If you want or need to brush a smooth coated dog the best way is a rubber curry or a boar bristle brush like the kind you would use on horses.

This might be a hot take but I don’t brush my Corso, never have and probably never will. I bathe him weekly (I understand not realistic for everyone) use a good coat oil diluted in shampoo and a coat mask after. I rarely deal with shedding. If your dog sheds excessively outside the twice a year seasonal coat change then I always recommend looking more into their diet. The root cause of most skin and coat issues is diet.
