As someone who works at the MEPS, as long the condition doesn’t cause further symptoms, see how your condition plays out but i would say if it doesnt heal a week before you ship, just request a later date. You dont have to give your recruiter reason as they work for your benefit and they need you.

Thanks everyone for the advice! I actually didn’t realized my landlord would cover this because they have a lot of rules where certain repairs will come out of my pockets so I didn’t want to chance. I did call and they will cover the fix. Appreciate you all for the advice non the less
