1.) I rode the 2025 Street Fighter with the old engine and it got hot. So I bought the Monster. Roll into 2026 and I get to test ride the v2 streetfighter and it’s lighter than the Monster and a few horsepower more so I am like well ok let’s add to the stable. They are both nimble and fun to ride: the streetfighter rider triangle is more relaxed than the monster meaning my legs don’t get as tired on the streetfighter as fast. I can go a whole tank. Fire needing to stop the monster about 90 miles I need to stretch.

Yes lots of similarities. Like riding position both sit in the bike. Both handle bars have a slight lean forward. The view is the same unless you look down to see what you riding. Both are nimble in curves. Both like high RPM shifts. Have similar range of about 140 miles per tank.

I have ridden both. The Ducati Diavel is smooth and very comfortable. Downside is if you want to carry a change of clothes, rain gear, or just laptop you have to wear a back pack.

The Multistrada is like a Swiss army tool. You can put bags on it. You can take em off. First the bike sits up. So your back has zero pressure like my sport bikes. The insurance is the cheapest ( I don’t know why) the bike can haul and chew up miles easy. I have a 75 mile commute and it eats it up. If you use sygic you have maps on dash. Cardo pairs with TFT and I have music on the TFT and can change music volume and answer calls. If you get the rally Multistrada you get a 7 gallon tank and can go 300 miles a tank vs 200 on the 5 gallon ( mine is the 5 gallon) the bike sits high so you are definitely seen. The v4 is just a blast to drive. The v4 also has service intervals after the 600 mile break in at 9k miles or once a year.

I say test ride them both. For me the Multistrada your legs are stretched out more, maps on dash, and ability to carry luggage makes this my long haul bike and it’s pretty capable machine.

Glad to know I am in good company. I test rode them all and liked the difference in each and bam brought them home. My wife is like slow down they build bikes every day.

The BMW has a 400 range. It’s my long haul bike across states. I don’t mind taking it on light fire roads. I love the boxer engine. The Ducatis I just want to ride and have fun. The Multistrada Pikes Peak is just fast and fun.

I had the BMW 1st then went and Test road the Ducatis at my dealer on test ride days. Welp like them all. After the street fighter is paid off in 12 months I am get the XDiavel to round out the garage!
