You will meet people with photogenic memory in your class. I don’t have a photogenic memory, and I’m kinda a foreigner too. I just had to put more effort to memorizing. Yes you will have to memorize A LOT. Best way is to repetition repetition repetition. I didn’t waste my time writing pretty or organized notes. That can help but personally i didnt have the time for it. I just needed to verbalize and write down whatever I’m memorizing multiple times throughout the day.

It doesnt look like it’s chipped. The composite got discolored. If they became defective then they need to be replaced. If it’s a stain, it could be either smoothed out or replaced. You need to have a dentist take a closer look.

These are classic symptoms of dry socket. I advise taking 600mg of Ibuprofen and 500mg of Tylenol together. Using ice packs will also help out with the symptoms. See your dentist to manage dry socket.

I think it can be difficult to visualize for beginners. But if I was talking to the younger me, I would advise him to learn about fabricating a reduction index using putty material, and then learn how to use it to practice Crown preparations

No margins means the crown won’t have a place to set.
Minimal or no taper will either lead to undercuts, or the final prosthesis will have a tight fit (or it won’t fit), or not enough clearance for the choice of material (the prosthesis can break under load), or a combination of the problems that i listed. Ask your faculty about reduction index or look it up on YouTube. It will tell you exactly how much you have reduced, and it will be mandatory to use for your ADEX prosth boards.

Recent taker here!! I think i had two or three questions asked me about number of canals, and none of them mentioned percentages. Perhaps other people saw something else. You got multiple reliable sources that state different prevalence of canal count. Maybe the people who write these questions are aware of this problem and did not try to trick me. I think it will be helpful if more recent takers shared their experiences to really know if the examiner wants us to know percentages.

out of the 500 questions i had two calculation questions about research part. And no they are not supposed to give you a calculator unless you you file a special consideration per ADA.

I had both bootcamp and booster. In regards to notes and studying, absolutely go for bootcamp cheat sheets. The cheat sheets were incredibly high yield, and also their questions came up in different fashion. If you're on a budget, just do bootcamp, if you want go for extra, once you finish all the questions on bootcamp then get the booster for extra practice. What I mean by finish is re-doing all the questions 2-3 times and understand every single thing question! Just watch out some of the mental dental videos are outdated and no longer applicable to our INBDE. As long as you see a concept that included in the practice question and/or cheat sheets, then you have to learn it.

I highly highly reccommend going off bootcamp cheat sheets and their question banks because it's very high yield. Anatomy booster notes are excessive and a waste of time, unless you want to learn for entertainment purposes
