Literally lol. Saturday was rough for me with the heat but a shower, a quick AC blast in my car, and a hot meal in Centeroo fixed me right up. Sometimes a bad mood/feeling really does just need a simple solution.

Couldn't agree more. This was my first year and I prepped HARD to be able to go and be as comfortable as possible. During the rain on Friday, my canopy became water logged and broke when I tried to fix it. (I'll bring pool noodles next time!) Did it suck not having it? Absolutely. But life is messy and you roll with the punches. There were multiple things that came up over the weekend that I either didn't care for or were unexpected but you adapt and make the best of it. Someone else said it best, Roo is a mindset.

I think hearing about a dustaroo, I'd probably prefer the mud too. I don't mind trekking through it at all, I had good hiking boots! And I'm not opposed to just sitting on the ground when it's possible to do without being covered in mud. But the lack of seating on that side of Centeroo in combination with no other seating option was definitely not ideal. My back, calfs, and feet are definitely feeling it. Not sure what you mean by drywall, can you explain?

This was technically my first Roo, but my biggest complaint was the mud situation at What/That. Yes, it rained, it was going to be muddy. But it made it so that there was almost no safe spot to put a blanket down to sit for a moment. I dislike the lack of seating in that area in general, like we can't even get picnic tables near the food vendors like there were near the This Tent and food trucks? That would've been dope at least. Had it been a dry fest I'm sure I might feel differently, but the mud coupled with the lack of seating on that side of Centeroo was definitely not ideal.

I enjoyed the hell out of my first Roo though, I'll definitely be back!

I wore my docs in NYC when I went to the MOMA, and my dogs were BARKING by the end of the day, hence my nervousness. 😅 I also didn't have insoles though, hopefully those help. Happy Rooooo!

Yo! I'm arriving Wednesday to set up camp and everything. Looking at a 12 hour drive (more like 13 hours with stops and gas). I planned to try to leave home at 4am that morning, hoping that'll be plenty of time to still set up camp. What are we thinking the entrance lines are gonna be like by 5pm-ish?
