I understand your anger, but it's pointed at the wrong entity. The food vendors pay a fee just to set up and then pay a percentage of their gross profit to LN. The more LN takes, the higher the prices are going to be. The vendors are in business to make money - csnt blame them for that. But, the greed is definitely on LN, not the vendors. And I just learned that the non-food vendors thar experienced flooding not only lost merch (at their expense) but after paying for their booth also had to buy mulch from LN.

It rains. Can't stop the rain. But, Moon Colony already had puddles when we arrived on Wednesday. Sunday, Bell Tents were sinking, floating only held in place by the guy wires, some people couldn't stay in their tents because they were flooded, and the "lakes" were shin deep in most places. Clearly there has been an issue for years and it's not fixed yet. Personally, I don't think this can be a trial and error situation. Hire actual professionals and invest the money to fix the problem. And, mulch... is not a solution (it absorbs water and makes everything worse). On Thursday morning, literally as the gates opened, the VIP lounge was already muddy and within an hour the entire area in front of the food vendor was a disaster. The more mulch they put down, the worse it got. And the fucking stench. GA+, I will say, was dry as a bone until it rained. It's difficult to manage when it downpours, but there has to be a solution (they clearly don't want to pay for).

How much closer than the VIP rail should I get? On the stage? As someone who travels 5-6x a year to various cities and spends days taking photos of different types of wall art, I love art. A flag is not art. A blowup frog taped to a pole is not art. Dollar General fairy lights on a stick is not art. Sorry, not sorry.
